and kind. On the same day I left the guesthouse, I had to come back to
the guesthouse from the airport because i've left something
important there. The host kindly let me stay that one night for free. So
clean. Good price. Quiet. Nice place. I would definitely go back!!!

An extremely well-designed (but small and compact) hotel.
Very friendly staff - knowledgeable and helpful and really kind.
We've stayed in 4 hotels over the past 10 days in Japan and this is easily the best; much better than the place we stayed in Kyoto for 1.5 times the price. If you want to visit Kyoto AND Nara, just stay here and do a day trip

One of the best places that we stayed at. Incredibly cheap, and absolutely amazing value for the price. The room was really cute and cozy and the futons were really comfy. The wifi was good and reliable, and they also had desktops and printers available in the common room, as well as free reading material, tea and coffee facilities, maps and a kitchen. It's really close to the station - within walking distance, even with large and heavy suitcases. The staff there were what really made our stay

The owner was very friendly. He bought out two beautiful kimonos and a pair of samurai swords for us to try on and had mirrors positioned to get great reflective shots of my wife in the kimono.

The owner was extremely nice and helpful. It was fun to stay on a tatami mat and have an onsen like bathroom. You can't beat the price and it was a short cab ride into the main park in Nara.

Booked a single room with 13.5sq meter size a large single bed, comfortable bed, clean room with a fridge & safe, very close to train station convenient to downtown and the hotel provide a free bike and you can cycle to town, Nara park anywhere within 15 to 20min. Bus route is nearby. Quiet location -

Private room for 4 persons is clean and roomy, I am totally surprised that we got this big room for the price 2400 yen per person.
In the 4 persons room there are power plug of every bed, and a table with 4 chair which is useful to discuss travel plan tomorrow with friends or have meal or sneaks together. There is a showroom and toilet too.

Incredible value for money! I was really surprised to find such a fantastic well kept room for so little money. Our traditional Japanese room was cosy, clean and very modern. The bathroom was also nicely designed. The guest house is conveniently located and, despite some of the comments I read, easy to find. The owner will provide you with a super detailed map and pictures so you cannot go wrong!! The owner is a really nice friendly guy who speaks good english. I cannot recommend this place eno

I ♥ the deer park inn. Wish i could have stayed longer. This is a brand new and truly fantastic establishment. In the heart of nara deer park. Clean. Affordable. Comfortable. Very reasonably priced. Really well appointed and lovely welcoming staff. This hostel/inn is the embodiment of modern japanese aesthetics. We got in very late and takeshita-san kindly waited up for us.
