Cosa dice la gente
We liked the Japanese traditional accommodations. The staff was very helpful with directions and even called our taxi driver when my son left his watch in the room when we had already checked out. The tatami sleepers for 5 was fun for our family although slightly uncomfortable at first. Overall excellent experience since the shopping and bust stops were conveniently nearby. Although for smaller kids it might be too much of a walk. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Sleep well, and the equipment is fine at this hotel. They will write
your name in front of the hotel, that makes me feel good. One thing bad
is they does not have wifi in your room. In short, I will suggest this
hotel to my friend and any of you !!.
- Relatively near the train station
- Beautiful and luxurious traditional rooms - well made up and equipped
- Very friendly and helpful staff - english speaking as well!
- Quiet location, not noisy at all, great for morning strolls.
1.Hotel communicate back to the guest prior to their arrival. Not happened by other major hotel in my trip.
2.Have the bus pass availble to the guest....very convenient.
3.Bath house in the basement.
4.My kids love it here.
Really friendly attentive staff, the breakfast was delicious. Hired some bikes and rode around Kyoto. Futons were quite comfortable for a ryokan (I've had worse) room was very spacious and comfortable.
The hotel is really nice and in quiet area which is good for take a full relaxation in Kyoto. All staffs are willing to help. Transportation to the hotel is not too complex nor difficult.
Staff and ambiance were outstanding. The traditional Japanese format was
great and we were pleased to have the option of formal Japanese
breakfast or informal western breakfast.
Traditional Japanese hotel with rooms where you sleep on tatami mats. It
was a fitting accommodation for my family of four, and a great cultural
experience.
Loved the location and the rooms were spacious enough for four of us. Having a private bathroom was also a bonus but the hotel onsen was also very good.
Excellent Japanese style hotel; large rooms - easily big enough for four. Good location - easy to get to buses and hotel staff very helpful.
Quiet, albeit centrally located Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn). Clean
basic tatami rooms with excellent service personnel.
very friendly, super clean, fun place to stay in Kyoto. Ryokan is the way to go! Onsen is an experience not to be missed.
Loved sleeping on the tatami mats. I enjoyed the public bath nightly. Shabu shabu was delicious.
Staff was amazingly helpful and nice
Rooms were clean and very nice
Onsen was great.
Excellent bathing facilities, spacious room, very close to the kyoto nightlife.
Very nice traditional japanese hotel, friendly staff, comfortable
amenities.
The traditional rooms were a great stay, and the futons extremely comfy!.
The service is top notch.
Japanese bath
Ryokan.
It was a great experience to sleep all the family together in the japanise tatami and to enjoy the public bath.
stuff very friendly, very good location, good value for money. lovely onsen.
- Helpful staff
- Public bath in-house
- Cozy room
- Surrounding place.
Traditional Bath house and rooms.
That the bathrooms are a bit small. Still a smell of cigarette smoke despite ot being a non smoking area.
Not wifi , noise in room. Small tv.
- Hotel can be hard to find
- A little on the pricey side, but well worth the money
- Not many shops around it.
1.No Wifi coverage for the guest room.
No wifi in rooms, lobby only.
The pillows were tiny, I would have liked to have an option of a
bigger pillow.
Staff could have been a bit more helpful with recommendations for
restaurants and things to see/do.
Have nothing bad to comment.
Slightly out-dated accoutrements, even by Japanese standards. Computer
access troublesome, and business center computer very difficult to use
for English speakers.
I wish the laundry was available past 9:00pm.
Fooled by one of the pictures to believe there would be a balcony in the suite.
Very early breakfast.
Hotel was a bit old.
It was expensive, but most likely because we visited in Golden Week.
Smoking is allowed in the lounge area.
Expensive
Staff welcoming but not helpfull.
The lobby decoration and the smoke smell.
hotel a little dated,definetely not a 4 star hotel.
- smelly restroom
- I booked to Oyado Ishicho, but, turned out that I had to stay at Ishicho Shogikeun which I didn't know the reason.. Anyway, I don't mind on that since we had a nice staying there...
Very expensive! No kettle with coffee in rooms and Wifi only available when sitting in foyer downstairs. For the money paid we felt this was not good value.
Totally overpriced for the facility.
