  Staff is very kind and helpful, despite the difficulty of communication in english (common problem all over Japan)... Room is comfortable. The location is practical, at walkable distance (200mt) from the 2nd stop of Gora-Sounzan cablecar... it has got an Onsen (hotspring bath) at ground floor, open till 2am, and from 5am, with outdoor tub! Shuttle service is very convenient but you need to book both pick up and departure from hotel. Hotel staffs are very nice but they speak english very little. Convenient store is not far from hotel, just 5-10 mins walk. Room is spacious comparing to tokyo's room.

  Gora is a beautiful place to stay while in Hakone and the Merveille is a nice hotel. The staff are warm, friendly and speaks English or tries their very best to assist you. The indoor onsen is great and has all you need to enjoy and relax in the hot pool. The breakfast was sumptuous and the amenities in the room was amazing.
