Cosa dice la gente
Originally we were booked into this hotel but were moved to Hotel
Argentiere, where the manager of that hotel was very unfriendly and the
room inappropriate. Upon discussing this with the Lo Scoglio manager, we
were moved to a different building all together. Into a nice apartment
style room with beautiful ocean view. Beppe was very helpful in making
this arrangement. Location was great, Monterosso is great for evening
walking along the seaside. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Beautiful location... the hotel seemed to be four rooms on the third floor of an apartment building, which was a little confusing, but once we were inside it was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and helped us with printing out boarding passes and anything else we needed. They were so NICE!! The view was AMAZING... perfect spot in Monterosso to home base for fantastic exploring.
A extraordinary find compared to similar listings for the price. The Family room worked perfectly for us. Mini fridge. Best location to beach. Close to train station, hiking, town/shops. Great view from our private balcony. Modern, renovated accommodations. Huge common area and Ocean view deck. Owners and management were great!.
Modern design and lovely common area and terrace. Very clean, tasteful
and quiet. Right on the beach. Train and/or water ferry between
villages. Was worth so much more than we paid. We will return to this
hotel for a longer period of time.
Great location, clean rooms with large shared sitting area and balcony overlooking the beach. A quick, less than a minute, walk to the beach. Water was refreshing, nice rocks to jump from.
Great location. Much easier to get to than many other places to stay in Cinque Terra. Common living room with separate bedrooms. A nice common terrace.
Location was perfect for being in Monterosso. Very close to the train station. Just a short 10min walk. Modern accommodations and very clean.
Monterosso was easily accessibly from the station. The hotel was quiet, lovely sea view and the communal balcony ideal for relaxing!.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent location with great view. Great base for exploring the Cinque Terre.
the location (on the beach) and the view (the other villages) are both top-notch. very friendly staff.
Old building beautifully restored. Very good beachfront location
excellent cleaning staff.
Proximity to the beach, Nice outdoor area from our unit, new apartment, quiet.
Very convenient to beach and stores etc.
Like staying in a friends beach house!.
The central location, cleanliness.
Proximity to the coast and to many shops, restaurants, hiking trail and transportation. Easily accessible by train. Modern hotel room with nice common area and common larger balcony. Reasonable price.
Location is great. Close to sea and train station. Clean and has a terrace facing the beach.
good staff.
Location.
Location was very good.
Only location.
Loved the balcony, shared lounge. Loved Italian Mama who cleaned. Great experience.
While I can appreciate the accommodation can be mixed up, it would be
appropriate to explain to a guest what is happening. Also, assessing
that new accommodation is sufficient. It worked out in the end, but
obviously one needs to work on it to get you want.
It was a little hard to find... we asked one of the locals and they lead us right to it. Right on the beach... beautiful!.
That we didn't stay longer than 3 nights! :(.
Hard to find as we ended up in Monterosso Storico first and had to
travel back up the mountain and north to the Monterosso Fegina road.
Lack of continental breakfast, which was provided in every other hotel
we stayed in.
Hit and miss for parking, if you don't arrange a parking spot and the beach is full, you will have to park at the road side at the top of the hill, and take a 15 min taxi ride to the place. Very rocky beach, jelly fish. We were there in late August. I emailed Enrico 8 times and never got a response regarding parking. We got lucky 2 spots left in the beach parking area.
Didn't quite have the ocean view we had hoped. Also no real front desk to ask for directions help etc.
Our pre booked (seven months previously) room was not available on arrival , with little concern for the inconvenience of this, we were accommodated else where for one night. No on sight WiFi!.
Bit hard to find due to limited street signage.
Lack of elevator - had very heavy cases as we had travelled from
australia check in facilities at another address - not attended 24hrs.
Initially we were disappointed we did not get into the place we had booked into but the staff tried hard and by the second night had located us a very satisfactory alternative so overall we were still very happy there and would stay there again.
Complicated system to check in and get key-Walk to central office, not clearly signed to get to site- one of 4 under same management.
Difficult to find hotel to check-in (not much signage in Italy in
general) but locals are very helpful and the apartment is worth it!.
The difficulty locating check-in location and the lack of on-site staff to ask questions to.
No view in one of our parties' rooms as described (although a price adjustment was made after requested); no sign for the hotel made it more difficult to find; no elevator. No private balcony; workers still doing renovations; common balcony used for hotel laundry area.
The facility is more like an 4 bedroom apartment. Doors are not sound proof , so when next door travelers open or close door, you can hear them clearly.
Check was only available until 8pm and had to check in at a diff. Location . That was hard to find . Also there was really no service on site, I.e. No staff is there. Not hot water boiler, and no one to ask question or provide direction for .
Male proprietor was arrogant and rude.
Wifi was not present in the hotel and also they initially said that breakfast would be provided at another restaurant with sea view but they did not provide the breakfast.
Apartment was too small with narrow interior stairs taking you to an upstairs room that was too small.
No signage!.
This place isn't a hotel. You'd be booking a bedroom a large five bedroom apartment. The lounge and balcony are shared with other guests. The owner, who doesnt speak much English, comes and goes through the apartment at her whim. We were very dissappointed and luckily had only booked two nights and we couldnt wait to move on.
