John is the best, he was always there helping us out with our questions and everything, cooking the breakfast, singing (haha!), and he's very helpful, he told us he should have come to pick us at the bus stop! And the room was fantastic, everything was perfect, we slept great, there was also a kitchen we could use and loads of depliants in the room! Very clean! I'd like to come back there! We stayed just one night, too bad...

Our room overlooked the river and was tastefully decorated in white & cream, I would say 'shabby chic' style. It had a jacuzzi bath in the bedroom part but it had curtains to allow privacy if desired. There was a separate shower room with toilet. We loved the location it was a couple of minutes walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The B&B is beautiful inside and out, decor is vintage chic and the room we had (6) was very spacious. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Myself and my fiacnce travel quite a lot and the wesport plaza has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in, excellent staff, service,food and comfort, will most certainly be back. - Everything. The room, the staff, the food - the hotel was excellent and I would highly recommend it.

The room was lovely but the best bit was siting dowstairs in hte foyer with my grandchildren hile we waitid for other family to arrive. A very enjoyable stay, great location. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Geraldine made us feel ' at home' from the start, so friendly and welcoming. We especially liked that there was a seperate lounge where guests were able to read/watch tv and make tea/coffee.Lovely home cooked breakfast We would definitely recommend McCarthys

Friendly staff,owner was very accommodating,especially with attention to detail about the area. Very clean rooms,breakfast every morning suited every diet and specification and the Irish breakfast complete with soda bread,white and black pudding. Perfect location, also near to Westport golf club, with a golf loving partner the putting green out front and the living room full of golf memorabilia was brilliant,planning our next trip and will defiantly be returning to the Augusta Lodge.
