I stayed post valentines day with my partner and unexpectedly got
engaged! It was a perfect setting and I adored the decor of the
courtyard suites...was only sorry we could not stay and enjoy them
longer. Staff were very friendly but not intrusive. We ate in Darbys
which struck a nice balance between good (not gourmet) food and relaxed
atmosphere.

Doonbeg reminded me of withering heights driving up to it but has the luxury fell inside like an old manor . Myself an my friends and family had a wonderful weekend the service was second to none the food was excellent. Also ,

Staff was friendly, service was impeccable. Earl of Thormond restaurant had fabulous food and attentive wait staff. Gluten free options available.
Breakfast was delicious as well with many options.
Falconry lesson was a great experience with friendly and knowledgeable handler. TJ was a Harris Falcon and not intimidating.

The beautiful location! The grounds are wonderful and well kept. You just can't beat it. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are large and have heated mirrors so they never fogged up. The staff is hospitable and informative. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return to take advantage of all the amenities.

... cosa dice la gente » t lag and missed the timeframe for breakfast but they graciously setus up with breakfast before we left. - This hotel was superb; staff, food, bedroom was fantatic but I would say that the best part of my stay was the Leisure Centre - excellent Jacuzzi and the Spa was sublime, would certainly recommend all to visit. I believe this hotel should be upgraded to a 4 star at least, well done!

Beautiful grounds, the view of the cascades, the front of hotel was gorgeous. The spa was fantastic, outdoor hot tub was a real treat. Pool at night time provided a great ambience. Sauna with glass wall again contributed to lovely atmosphere. Lovely service in Thai restaurant and a great meal. Breakfast had great selection also. Location was great

The staff were very friendly and efficient. I didnt use the pool but myboyfriend did and he was very pleased with it. The room/bathroom itselfwas very spacious and comfortable. Nice restaurant and bar, the latterstays open until 3.00am. - We booke 2 twin rooms and on arrival were given a lovely big suite,it suited our need perfectly for that evenin
