I was put in a room with hardly any wifi signal. I asked if I could have another room as I really needed Internet access and they were very helpful and accomodated my request. Breakfast included fresh fruits and other healthy stuff. Don't like the full Irish breakfast and this was a welcome change. -

This apartment was a fantastic find! We go to Clifden a few times a year. We have found now with two kids we are very restricted in a hotel room, but its very expensive (and usually impossible) to get a holiday rental for less than a week. The friendly helpful service was exactly what we were looking for.There was plenty of facilities and the room was clean and tidy. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. Guest house was close to all amenities in Clifden. Parking at guest house for residents only. Free use of computer in lounge with tea/coffee making facilities in lounge as well. Owners on site and always ready to help and advise as to where the best places to eat and which are the best scenic routes .

from the moment we walked in the door we had the warmest of welcomes. The room was really spacious, comfortable, warm and better than many hotels I've experienced. Lots of choice for breakfast and very relaxed about timing! We weren't hounded out of the room at 10 in the morning, the landlady was more than happy to accommodate a late breakfast. Sh

I was travelling with a friend after we are living in Ireland for almost 2 years, this was our first big trip here. I can say with no doubt that staying in Connemara Coutry Lodge was a great decision, we had a great time there. The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly, Mary is just a great hostess and she sang some songs after the breakfast. Lovely!
We were very sorry to spend just one night the, I'd recomend this B&B to everyone coming to Ireland.

After two weeks in Ireland in the lower half of the country, we felt this was one of the top two places we stayed the entire trip. This is the ideal place for touring across Connemara. Just an hour by
car from Galway and by foot ten minutes down to the beautiful town of
Clifden. Plenty of nice restaurants and last not least cosy little pubs.
The breakfast in racecourse lodge is just out of this world. Smoked
salmon and fresh brown bread for breakfast, that's what I need early
in the morning. Our hosts were more than friendly and helpful. We would
like to come again, thanks for everything.

Spacious, comfortable room, extremely comfortable beds (I even asked where she bought the matresses!). It was very reasonable for what was on offer, the welcome was warm and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the house was spotless! All three of us slept like logs - I couldn't praise it more highly as a B&B. Highly recommended! -

Wonderful warm and knowledgeable hosts, very clean and comfortable accommodation. A real joy and very pretty surroundings. Loved the collie dog, Lady, which escorted us on our walk to the cliffs, even though in was pouring rain! ;) Nice scenic 10 minute drive to Clifden town - with wonderful pubs, Irish music and good food.

Gorgeous modern spacious apartment with so much provided you only need to pack your clothes. Luxurious home from home. Fabulous location and owner a pleasure to deal with. Moved on to a 4* hotel in Westport and regretted having left the apartment ever since! Nothing could compare well against this beautiful apartment.

This was a very comfortable B&B. The hosts could not have been more caring. I became ill while there and had to stay in a couple of days. They went out of their way to check and insure my husband and I were comfortable. Couldn't have asked for more caring hosts! Location was gorgeous. Highly recommend! -
