  staff gentilissimo - More than anything else I liked the attention given by the owners (Ongchuk and sons) and the staff (Raj the chef and Sumash, the waiter). I ate at many restaurants in Leh, but the food prepared by Raj was the most delicious. The garden was beautiful and relaxing. The location is a bit difficult to find the first time you enter the city. However, once you've been there, it is pretty easy to re-find.
