great, the hotel was very close to the beach (even though you can't
swim there), chinese fishnets and Princess street. I was paranoid I will
get food poisoning so for the first 5 days I mostly ate in the hotel

The hotel has an old world charm to it and at the same time it is well equipped with modern amenities. We were upgraded from a garden view room to the Ghorpade suite which was great. I am totally impressed with the level of service provided by everyone, from the spa therapists, to the receptionists, and the waiters. Kapithan Inn is very nice hotel to stay in Kerala. We really like this place. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. They help us with all trips and taxi to Airport, train and bus tickets. Also is hotel situated in calm place but in the centre of Fort Cochin, near are all sights you should see. We hope to visit them again.

Gini and George were excellent hosts! We stayed on two occassions, at the start and end of our Kerala trip, and found it to be comfortable and perfect for exploring Fort Cochin. Our hosts were extremely helpful with finding our way around the area and advised us on the best ways on travelling onto Munnar and organised taxis to and from the airport.
