  I recieved a very warm welcome from Astrid on reception. I was lucky enough to arrive on a night when the northern lights were out, and we went outside to watch them together. I had a really special night there, and really loved the room I got. Very helpful with everything I asked about, and it really made the end of my stay memorable. Sylvia was great. When she wasn't cleaning, she was doing research on Iceland in order to give suggestions to travellers. I had a room to myself and it was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. Everything sparkled. Close to the airport and to bus stops. It's just a terrific place to stay. (...and I did not miss the bus to Reykjavik)

  A perfect starting point for Iceland exploring. The owners are extremely nice and friendly people. Cottage is clean and comfortable. We ended each day with dip in the hot tub on the terrace - fantastic end of each day on Iceland. Tip: owners can contact you with car rental comapny with good cars and very good prices. Great location for airport (10 mins by car) and blue lagoon (~20mins) - yet it is a destination not a generic airport hotel. 5. Owner clearly thought about little practical touches for a small cabin. 6. Saw the northern lights- dark with very little light pollution.

  The hotel is pretty new and clean, it is in the center of Keflavik and you can find a parking very easily. I stayed there before taking off from KEF airport (that is 5 minutes driving from the hotel) and they served me breakfast at 5:30 am. I booked a room with shared bathroom the night before, but when I arrived the lady at the reception gave me ... cosa dice la gente » a room with a private one for the same price. - Very comfortable hotel, with WIFI and convenient if you have to pick a flight from Kevlavik airport. Mind you it is located 7KM away, so you need extra transport to get there. But this hotel offers shuttle bus service (not free). Rooms tidy and very large.
