We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

La gentilezza dello staff e' super. Non ha eguali, le ragazze della reception sono veramente graziose e disponibili, parlano un inglese ottimo. La struttura e' meravigliosa. Ottimo - La cordialità del personale, la pulizia della stanza, il wireless e la vicinanza ai mezzi pubblici per arrivare in centro Budapest (utilizzate il tram 41)

The best atmosphere we've ever experienced. The hotel is run by a family which lives in the same building (a couple and their 8 year old son). The lady does all the organizational work (reception, breakfast cooking etc).

Everything. The owner is the real deal, does not just go thru the motions but really cares that you are happy and taken care of. Takes the time to go the extra 100 miles, for advice to plan your day or your trip, to make custom eggs for breakfast, to make sure you have everything you need in your room. The place is nice, the rooms are clean and modern. The fact that it is in the suburbs is a slight inconvenience that I would gladly suffer again to stay here. The busstop is a 2 minute walk, come

Friendly Staff. Family run (at least looked like). Good location if you look for something near Industrial Areas. Quiet location. No traffic noise -
cheap accomodation, near the highway and near to Budapest, relatively clean. Lady at the desk speaks a little German so basic communication was possible, which can be sometimes quite hard in Hungary.
