  The location is right in the center of the walled city. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You could feel that it was in an 800 year old house but only by its character and charm. The pub downstairs is a very good option; it stays open until 11 and has some great plates and beers (plus it doesn't disturb upstairs).

The owner tried to accommodate on the 2nd floor but in the end we chose the original room.   This Inn was recommended by another famous travel guide and it did not disappoint. It is on an out of the way narrow street and it looks like the nearly 600 year old building it is.   We stayed in the 4 person apartment. It was a little outdated, but reasonable. It was very clean and ready to go once we arrived. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with any questions you have about touring the local area. The biergarten and restaurant were great. The food was even better. Breakfast was also wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel!
