Brook Lane Hostel was really easy to find when we were coming from railway station. Market can be confusing, remember you'll do the check in there. Finding food was easy! Hostel had lots of space for cooking, bath was lovely and the interior was youthful. Our room had comfortable bed, spacious shelves and a lovely window sills. -

The room was quite large, with a comfortable bed, desk, chair and mini refrigerator. My credit card didn’t want to go through, but the employee at the desk was not troubled. This was a first class hotel. The room was beautifully decorated but a bit dimly lit. Everything was very clean. Breakfasts were outstanding--one could order freshly fried eggs, omelettes, bacon etc. the buffet featured lots of meat, cheeses, breads and fresh fruit. Our only complaint was that they did not have syrup for the waffles.

Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Location was great, about 5minutes walk through the main shopping district to the old town. They do an outstanding job providing basic accommodations. There was an issue with the Internet in the lobby, so they gave me free Internet in my room, which would normally be a charge.

As we were arriving on the weekend, we received a call to give us the info needed to enter the building. Kirsten was very helpful in assisting us with the task of security doors etc - most grateful for a friendly, competent staff member who went out of her way to make our stay a pleasant one.
