  In this region are few comfortable hotels as most are 2-3 star typical Bavarian boarding houses. Burgdacherl has some special qualities though - the rooms are large, very light and have almost unimpeded views over the Inn valley in the direction of the Wendelstein mountains. The breakfast room on the top floor has even better views across the valley and glimpses of the castle at Neubeuern, the local dec - The room was perfectly clean, the bed was good, the guy who runs it (or rather, runs it with his wife, I think, but I didn't meet her) is very friendly, the breakfast was fantastic, and I can't think of anything negative to say at all. It's a lovely hotel centrally located in a lovely village, really.

  The hotel building we stayed at is new, alhtough its style matches the character of the village. Rooms were spacious and modrenly decorated with solid wood furniture of modern charater and a good taste. A bathroom had a widow coming out to the room.
