  The half board was excellent, beautiful meals in the evening. Close to other towns for day trips. Nice and quiet if you needed a day of rest.

  Everything. The location was perfect, almost next door to both a supermarket and the very worthwhile Porcelain Museum. Access to the town was easy, although there was a lot of flood damage, sadly, which made the walk a bit depressing. It was possible to park safely in the forecourt of the hotel.   The staff was extremely friendly in a very natural way. They even gave me a Glas of champaign when We arrived, because they saw that it was my birthday. The Meissen manufactur is 15 min away and the view over the red roofed city fantastic. The outside terrace and hotel garden with vineyard super romantic. It was an over all an extremely pleasant stay. - Hotel is new but in an old building on the top of the hill in the old town - a short walk from the castle and cathedral. The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel in Germany and excellent value in the room rate. We also had dinner in the restaurant, local cuisine that was very refined and high quality. I would stay again.
