  Hotel staff was very friendly; room was nice, free parking. We enjoyed a wonderful complimentary a three course dinner dinner upon arrival. The breakfast was outstanding, huge selection of different kinds of bread and buns, cut up tomatoes and other salad items, all kinds of cold cuts, hot food, scrambeled eggs, sausages and more, desert items, swe... cosa dice la gente » ets, hot crepes, fruit.   Large room. Comfortable. Clean. Good value for money. Sauna (but i didn't have the opportunity to test it because I stay only one night). - only stopped one night while in town to see a friends gig. The hotel is so close and handy for the venue I will keep it in mind when back touring with bands. Staff were friendly and it was great value.

  Beautiful hotel right in the centre of the city. The staff were very helpful (I rushed in from the car after a long drive and needed to use the WC before even checking in and they were very helpful!). The room was beautiful, modern, big and airy. It is directly across from the famous restaurant Auerbach's Keller where Goethe sets the scene in which Faust sells his soul to the devil. Great meal and wonderful paintings. The hotel is minutes from the famous Thomaskirche where Bach served as music director.
