  I can't say enough good things about this hotel! The man running it is an absolute gentleman. He and his family run an excellent establishment! I will always stay here when I visit Dusseldorf. He gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to see for the short time we were in town (travelling to Dortmund the next day). Ev - First reaction of the lobby area was the opulence of the décor a little garish perhaps, certainly different (unique) however, the hotel is in a good location, next to the iconic U building, and Westentor U-bahn station, and a short walk to the City centre. Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms spacious and well appointed, and excellent vfm.

  The hotel was situated ideally for my stay i attended a racing pigeon convention and the hotel was not more that 10mins walk to the arena that it was staged so no transport costs.   Lovely room and view, pretty gardens, friendly staff, close enough to underground, near to stadium and running track - Great hotel. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Bathroom was plenty bih enough. Several amenities in the room for those who forget a few things. Staff were friendly and helped us with directions.
