I materassi - Very friendly and helpful staff - Excellent central location. Quiet rooms overlooking the inner courtyard; these were requested and supplied. Free internet use was a bonus. Nice bar and restaurant, although our use of these was minimal.

The location is really easy to find. We travelled by train and it's
located about 10 to 15 minutes from Trier HBf. It is really close to the
city and other tourists attractions. The staff was super friendly and
made us feel at home since we arrived. We read a few negative reviews

A free drink at the bar was offered after check-in, which was a nice touch.
The location is close (5 mins walk) to the old city centre, yet easy to unload bags/check-in as there is a reserved bay in front of the hotel. Private covered parking is available a 2 min walk away (4.70 euros per night), the WiFi worked fine on my visit.
