Big hotspots like Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, Bundestag and Holocaust Denkmal are doable walking. I can recommend this hotel to anyone!

  The staff was very friendly but some appeared a bit reserved. The location is great, it took about 20min to walk to the central station/city (the neighborhood is also very good). If you prefer the metro the nearest station is just down the street. The parking area is great; they charge 15euro/day. (Still it's an open area so you can drive in/out - We loved its proximity to the main train station (it can be reached in around 10 min walk). Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome! I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)
