  Large room. Comfortable. Clean. Good value for money. Sauna (but i didn't have the opportunity to test it because I stay only one night). - only stopped one night while in town to see a friends gig. The hotel is so close and handy for the venue I will keep it in mind when back touring with bands. Staff were friendly and it was great value.

The main station was a - The hotel was in exactly the right spot for us - opposite the Thomaskirche, next door to the Bach Museum, the Gewandhaus 5 minutes away. St Nicholas Church down the road. We went to Leipzig to listen to Bach as part of a trip to hear music by Wagner in Bayreuth, Mozart in Salzburg, Haydn in Eisensdat et etc. This hotel is superb
