Il Park Inn è un palazzone moderno di 137 piani proprio in centro a Berlino. La metropolitana è ad un passo. Ottimo soprattutto per la passeggiata più bella (da Alexanderplatz a Porta di Brandeburgo): basta uscir dall'hotel e ci sono un sacco di cose da vedere. Camera ottima, sia in pulizia che in comfort. Particolarmente rispetto alla stazione ferroviaria, comodissima per chi proviene dall'aereoporto. Si fanno pochi passi con il bagaglio e si e' arrivati. Poi taxi sempre pronti e mezzi pubblici di ogni tipo. Nelle immediate vicinanze il quartiere piu' in voga per la vita notturna. Il tutto, soggiornando al 20° piano nell'assoluto silenzio e con una vista panoramica non comune sulla citta'

We had a problem with our room (it was smelling smoke) and people from
reception had a quick and nice reaction, they changed our room, thing
that we appreciate a lot. Breakfast is quite good with a german touch
(muesli, german delicatessen and german cheeses, german bread).
This is a really confortable hotel (beds and comforters...).

The staff was very helpful in providing excellent restaurant recommendations within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was situated within walking distance of Museum Island and the Nikolaiviertel so sightseeing was easy. Having a subway station across the street gave us convenient access to the rest of Berlin.

Hotel was walking distance to most of the sights. Once you find the hotel it is easy to find your way back. The difficulty was by car locating the hotel and how to drive there. The entrance is not on a main road but on a tiny 1-way street that runs between 2 main roads. A friend who grew up in Berlin was driving me and we circled a few times before spotting the entrance to the hotel. I'm sure a taxi driver would have no trouble locating it. Lots of shops nearby as well as a train station.

Excellent location only 5 minutes walk to the S Bahn station, with a lift from the street directly down to the platform.
Plenty of restaurants just around the corner from the hotel, Particularly liked Tucholsky, Torstrasse 189. Be aware that they do not take credit cards.

Stayed in Berlin for Depeche Mode at O2 World, so location was excellent, about 10 mins walk away.
Also close-by are very good transport links.
Was very pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful it was, when in our room.

Located in Friedrichshain, very near U and S-Bahn stations. The area is a bit edgy with lots of night-life....but it still felt safe. Excellent facilities with a modern lobby. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Interesting historical building with an amazing courtyard in centre of the building. Double rooms had a/c which was greatly appreciated in a heat wave.
