Situated on the Rotweinwanderweg (red wine hiking trail), the apartment is popular with hikers and Nordic walkers. The surrounding area is also ideal for cycling, windsurfing and climbing, as well as tobogganing in winter.
On-site parking is at Ferienwohnung Sonnenberg. It is 28 km from the start/finish of the Nürburgring racing track and a 30-minute drive from the spa towns of Bad Neuenahr or Bad Münstereifel.
