I liked the location and interior of Ano 1609. Located right into the
centre of town where everything happens, yet the hotel is a quiet
private gated property providing privacy and comfort.
We were able to book on the same day and the hosts were very kind to wait for us (we kinda got lost, due to the whole city being closed down for a festival).

The decor is fabulous, a real blend of old meeting news. The history of the building is fascinating. The family are exceptionally friendly. The apartment is absolute luxury.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location! The food was excellent. Parking for free. -

The interior of the hotel - at least my room - was minimal but attractive and very comfortable. The bed was great, the bathroom clean, new and to a good standard, big enough and very light. This was a return visit for us as it is half way to our customary destination. It is easy to get off and back onto the motorway. Despite being on a busy road there was little traffic noise. The staff were as efficient and friendly as before. Room was big and clean. One bedside light was off and this was dealt with immediately . Bed was the best on our trip. No tea or coffee in the room but "on tap" in the reception room / lobby so quite happy with that. Breakfast had lots of variety. Still more
