  We came off a boat trip up the Rhine and found the hotel an easy 15min walk to the hotel from the landing. We found the staff most helpful as we only speak English. They directed us to a great little German pub with very good food at an excellent price. The host was a hoot!! The hotel breakfast was lovely , well presented. - I was pleasantly sur... cosa dice la gente » prised. The hotel did not seem much but it was the only free room at a short notice. Not our first choice. Yet the staff was very friendly and helpful despite being very busy and overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The castle next door is gorgeous!

  The pictures and description of this hotel don't do it justice. It is a quaint boutique hotel right by the river with a beer garden and spacious rooms. The staff was very friendly and even helped with the luggage. It is super close to the river where you can watch the pleasure boats and barges on the water. There are 2 excellent restaurants along - The hotel is located in the old historic part of Floersheim. Within walking distance are the Main river, several restaurants, a shopping center and the train station. The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was huge, elegantly furnished and very clean. We really loved that the entire hotel is decorated with pictures of movie stars and movie memorabilia.
