  I can't say enough about the care and service Maria's staff give their guests, particularly the reception staff. The unit was extremely clean, quiet and comfortably appointed.   This was by far the best of all of the seven hotels we stayed in during our three week trip. The host and hostess were fabulous. The rooms were beyond any expectations. The near by restaurant was fabulous. I spend my birthday dinner there and it was first class. I cannot say enough about this fabulous hotel and the owners. We were able to leave extra luggage there while traveling to Croatia for a week, then returning toThalhamer Hof for our last two days in Europe. There are two excellent restaurants on site, so there was no need to leave the premises, other than taking nice long walks in the area.
