Cosa dice la gente
The staff spoke english and was very friendly and helpful. I sent an
email to the hotel a few days before arrival and asked if were is a
possibility to get a room with a view to the street, they replied very
quickly and told me that if such a room will be available on the date of
our arrival, they will save it for us. When we arrived we received a
great room with a nice view on the 6th floor. I was ready for a really
small room but it was actually completely alright, each of us had a
suitcase a. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
When I arrived, I was not sure whether I needed an additional night. he staff immediately were able to provide this for me (lucky).
The room they had assigned to me for the initially booked stay had had a smoker in it - I was moved to a very nice room immediately, no question.
Breakfast was fine for me. Bed was comfortable. Table/desk in the room allowed me to work comfortably when necessary. Location was excellent. I was entirely pleased and shall book there the next time I return to Paris.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and they spoke many languages. The location was excellent in the Latin Quarter. My room was clean, comfortable, and had an excellent view of the city. There was plenty of hot water. The room was small but that was fine as it is Paris and I expected small. Paris is built for small people - the streets and sidewalks are tiny, the shops and restaurants are super compact, the stairways are very narrow, and the rooms are little. Expect this and you will .
The charm of Paris in the décor was just what we were looking for. The
front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The sleeping area and
bathroom were nice and housekeeping kept both clean. We also liked the
location and the hotel itself was very quiet. We got a very good price
break on the hotel/room using letsbookhotel.com. Conveniently located in
Latin Quarter and metro stops. All in all, probably very typical for an
authentic Parisian hotel.
I like everthing about the hotel . price was reasonable .location was
perfect . it was in safe side of the city .near to cardinal lemoine
metro station . you can reach cdg by one metro+ rer . breakfast was not
to reach but not bad at all .breakfast was 9 euro which is good
comparing outside .room was clean . towels were changed everyday and
room was cleaned everyday . staff was helpfull when we need any info .
This hotel is in a fantastic location! We walked EVERYWHERE! We stayed for a week and didn't touch the metro! It was a lovely hotel, very clean and very comfortable for a weeks stay. We weren't able to check in on the date reserved due to snow yet the staff had obviously communicated to each other to hold the room and make sure there were no problems with next day check in. Very helpful!.
Excellently located for a visit to Paris, especially to see the Latin Quarter & Note Dame.
We managed to get a free parking space for Saturday & Sunday as the meters are free at weekend in August.
Free Wifi was provided which allowed us to research our activities.
The rooms were well finished and reasonably spacious though not large.
The location, where one can easily walk to bakeries, cafes, restaurants,
outdoor markets, Notre Dame, the Seine, and other Latin Quarter
attractions, cannot be beaten. The staff is friendly and helpful,
offering assistance in finding affordable restaurants nearby, as well as
making reservations for dining, transportation, and entertainment.
The hotel is easy to reach from the Airports, and close to the Latin Quartier and the Ile Saint Louis.
Even if the room was a little small, it was comfortable, quiet and really nice, with a lovely trompe-l'œil on the ceiling.
It was also very warm, despite the outside temperature has been freezing icy.
The staff has been great.
Great location, close to river Seine, Notre Damme, Pantenon, Sorbonne, metro station and restaurants and bars around St. Germain Blvd. Very efficient use of space, friendly, helpful and well organized staff. Good wi-fi internet as advertised at letsbookhotel.com. Quite enough to be provided with when on a 4-day trip to Paris.
Excellent location, close to metro and walking distance to many city attractions.
Staff is extremely helpful and keen to help with every detail.
Good restaurants nearby.
Hotel is clean and tidy with stylish decoration, cozy and comfortable.
Breakfast is simple but very tasty and healthy.
We will definitely come back!.
We stayed at Hotel Minerve for 7 days and really enjoyed the area in the Latin Quarter. Easy walking distance to many great sites and the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The bus #63 was good for places like the Eiffel Tower and walking down Champs Elysees to the Arc De Triomphe.
Perfect location - to Notre -Dame 10 minutes on foot. Very quiet and peaceful (The window looked out into the courtyard). Blackout curtains on the windows, a comfortable bed, I could never sleep so well in trips. The helpful and friendly reception staff. Optimum value for money.
Hotel Minerve was perfectly situated in the middle of the Latin Quarter.
It was close to restaurants whichever way you turned. Staff were helpful
and very friendly. There is a cosy, lounge with interesting features.
Our room was warm and rich with shades of red and mahogany.
Service was first class.
Air conditioning in the first room played up and there was no problem in moving us to another compatible room. Continental breakfast was good value for money and the staff were really helpful.
Location was great just 15 minutes walk from Notre Dame.
I liked the hotel and I think it's well managed. While they made a small mistake and provided a double bed instead of two single beds that I requested, they corrected it the next day and gave a good room. The beds are very comfortable, and the location is great. .
Very good location near two metro stations. Nice neighborhood, bakeries,
super markets, cafes and bistrots all around. Walking distance to most
sightseeings. Polite staff. Renovated bathroom, hot water all the time.
Warm room in a very cold weather. Good wifi.
Staff were extremely helpful. The room, while small by Canadian standards, was comfortably fitted out. There was a tiny elevator to save hauling those cases up the stairs! Really convenient for walking across the bridge to Notre Dame and for the Metro.
The staff at Minerve were really helpful and catered for our needs in a most pleasant and efficient manner. They helped arrange our sightseeing and gave first rate advice on transport. The room was large and private. We would return to this lovely hotel.
Exceptionally friendly staff made our stay a real pleasure. They were genuine and helpful in their service to visitors. The visit included two "incidents" (my fault) which they handled professionally and with positive outcomes. Excellent location.
Believe it or not, the small size of the hotel and rooms therein were
actually quite cozy and relaxing. The staff was helpful. When we
realized we had booked a single room by mistake, they immediately moved
the furniture around to make it work.
a clean and decent hotel with romantic decoration and feeling. the terrace from the room make us crazy. staffs are nice and absolutely efficient. location is great, 5 mins walk fm the tube station make it really slient at night for good dream.
Welcoming staff, pleasant small room with tasteful decor. The room was super clean. Hotel is close to the metro station, also supermarkets, food stands and restaurants. The river is only a short walk away. I had a very pleasant stay.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was kept very clean.
Coffee machine and a drink and snack machine was by the elevator.
Great location, a 5 min walk from Notre dame! And bus stop for the tourist bus just around the corner.
The staff were very helpful and kind. The location is excellent for
walking almost anywhere in central Paris. Bus and metro is close too.
The rooms are warm, very clean and comfortable. The wi fi works
without a hitch.
The Hotel is well situated and within walk of local attractions and restaurants. Staff were available if needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Didn't bother with the breakfast as it looked a bit lacking in options.
The location of the hotel is simply superb! It is very quiet yet very close to the centre, artisian bakery and metro.
Staff is always with a smile and ready to help. It is very clean also. There is an air conditioning.
Wonderful location, within walking distance of lots of good restaurants, near Metro, friendly staff, particularly receptionist Simone who was always cheerful and extremely helpful. A very welcoming atmosphere!.
It is a lovely hotel with a nice ambiance and classical decor. The location is great and close to many sights. Metro stop is just around the corner, about 5 minute walk. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
Great hotel in the heart of Paris! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean, comfortable for our family. The location and value can't be beat! Highly recommend this hotel!.
The courteous, helpful service. All were very hospitalble.
The charming, elegant decor of the lobby and dining room where a bountiful quick breakfast.
Lots of cafes to choose from. Very convenient.
Located in a very nice part of Paris, close to gardens, to the river and Notre Dame, perfect for romantic walks. Charming interior and friendly and professional staff, speaking fluently English.
The location is great: walking to Notre Dame and Louvre and close to metro and RER, and in a very safe area (day and night). Breakfast very complete taking into account the prices in Paris.
The hotel was beautiful, the staff very friendly (in Paris!) and
helpful. The location was convenient to the metro and an easy walk to
all of the charms of the left bank and ile de la cite.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is central to everything for tourists. The Internet works perfectly and the staff are patient and helpful. I recommend it highly.
Wonderful location. Easy walk to many point of interest. Many bus lines available. Most staff was pleasant. Front room gave nice view of street. Double paned windows are effective.
Location was fabulous, easy walk to Metro, Seine, main drags and great
areas! The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a great
view from my 6th floor little balcony.
The hotel was very close to many of the monuments that we wanted to visit. It was also close to the metro. The hotel was small but homey and the rooms were very clean and welcoming.
We wanted to be in the Latin Quarter & easy access to catch Metro to CDG airport, Minerve's location was ideal, reception staff were very helpful & friendly, bed comfortable.
Hotel was 10min walk from notre-dame.its worth up gradeing to a room at
the front of hotel . staff very helpfull and they will book a return
shared shuttle transfer to cdg airport.
Friendly staff who spoke english, nice and spacious room on the 6th floor, good breakfast offered on-site (extra charge), convenient to Metro (2 blocks) and Latin district sights..
Excellent staff location only 5 mins from notre dame metro & bus buffet breakfast pleasant & welcome as coffee was 5E in the local cafes beds comfy & room warm.
The location is excellent and in my favourite area of Paris, with major attractions within comfortable walking distance. It is a safe and extremely interesting area.
Location os great, lots of good restaurants around. Room is small, but
good in comparison to other hotels in Paris. The price is good for
Paris. Staff is friendly.
Very very nice location on a very quiet big street, you can basically walk to all the main tourist sites! Very nice and friendly staff! Definitely worth the money!.
The staff was fantastic! When we went sick the night manager helpt us and gave us his breakfast.
Cozy rooms
Close to the city
Lovely interior
Great atmosphere.
very attractive building and interior, superb quiet location and close to metro travel making sight seeing easy, very friendly staff, good facilities.we loved it.
My daughter and I enjoyed 6 nights accommodation at Hotel Minerve. The staff were tremendous, the twin room was cosy but comfortable and we loved the location.
This hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to the Metro and a very short walk to Notre Damme. Comfortable and clean with very friendly staff.
It was a good hotel that was really close to a lot of really nice places. The room was small but we expected that. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Nothing, everything was really good.
I cannot think of any problem. Staff were quite excellent whether I spoke English or French to them.
The shower curtain kept sticking to my legs in the shower. The elevator says limit 3 but that is 3 people with no bags.
Our room was on a corner and triangular in shape, which left us a little
cramped for space in the sleeping area, but not really a big deal.
Offered a continental breakfast (which we didn't participate) but no
other meals and limited vending choices. However, there were other
cafe's nearby or within reasonable walking distance. The elevator
was the smallest I've ever seen, but again, not a big deal (Just one
person and one bag at a time).
Nothi̇ng !.
Breakfast was an additional 9€ per person which is far too expensive in my opinion.
Choice of breakfast was limited - we ate elsewhere.
Small rooms and lift but this is totally understandable for a city hotel.
Despite the size, the hotel is very comfortable.
Couldn't believe the big crowds at the big sites. We were here 10 years ago at the same time in May and didn't see anything like it was this year.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
Tight shower cabin.
There is only a basic vending machine for tea, coffee and cold drinks.
Lift was small but that is Paris.
Room very small, but the same as all rooms in Paris. Not very well
soundproofed. No fridge in the room.
Nothing, really.
A very small elevator (that only fits 2 people) and it was time consuming to get to the lobby in time to check out and catch our taxi to the station at 10am.
Lower floors are closer to street noise. We stayed on the 4th floor, which was excellent, but one night on the 1st floor was a bit louder.
It was generally clean, but I would like to suggest that they ask the
cleaning staff to clean the top of the baseboards.
nothing if compare with other hotels in paris, room is a bit small but much better than those in london.
Only minor things. Sound isolation between the rooms was not great - could hear the neighbours all too well. The shower could use a little shelf for toiletries.
A little noisy between rooms from the thin walls.
We traveled with our daughter who is 7. I hoped she could share the bed with me but we had to pay 100 on top for an extra bed. We did not have a good view either.
Bedroom not very big, but adequate.
The elevator is really tiny and our view was into a courtyard. The subtle noise from metro was a bit distracting when falling asleep.
The sub way stations were about a block and a half away for two lines. Not bad but would have liked to be a little closer.
The room was too small for a stay of six nights, I had to keep a lot of things in my suitcase under the bed. But overall it was a very nice stay.
Walls are very thin, which is not a problem if neighbors are considerate. A woman in an adjacent room was shouting into the telephone from 10:00 pm until midnight. Room is too small to accommodate a queen size bed. Moving around from the bathroom to the wardrobe is difficult.
I would have preferred newer bed linens. The room was quite small, but I
knew it would be from reading reviews prior to booking initially.
Nothing.
since room was on the top floor, the roof slant made the bathroom a bit awkward.
Walls a little thin we were next to a group of girls & at 4 am not a pleasant noise!! this was not the hotels fault thou.
The room was small, as expected, however there was little room to move.
I don't really love the carpeting and the many doors between the
stairs/ elevator and the rooms.
There is basically no soundproof from next door. I can hear ppl sneeze! But luckily we didn't get very annoying neighbors so slept very well!.
room was a tad small, it would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in rooms, not easy or safe carrying hots drinks.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing for €9. Very limited selection and not particularly "French".
Our bathroom door didn't lock or even close properly and the bathroom needed a shower curtain, water went everywhere.
