The area of this hostel is really good. It is area number 3 in the
"metro", you can buy the metro ticket areas 1-3 wich is the
cheapest to travel with a travel day card or 10 tickets. The room is
fine, it isn't to big but you can move around. Mine had the window
to the street, for was cool because you can see the people and I
don't mind the noise. You can let your bags your departure day if
your trip to go back is later than 11. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
newly decorated room. Comfortable bed, good showers and great location if you want to stay in a hip area. Literally 2 minutes from a metro stop. While the Toilet and shower facilities are shared there was never a wait to use them and it was not an issue. The other great thing was the staff who kept the luggage safe and secure before and after check in. All in all well recommended.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the street was quiet.
The shower was hot and powerful, the toilet was clean and working.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Round the corner from Belleville Metro which connects to Chatelet (brown line) next to Notre Dame, and Anvers (blue line) next to Sacre Coeur.
Very calm and nice service. Remember that they will request you to
make payment in advance for all days. Metro station 50m from the
hotel. Lots of markets, boulangers and cafés. Walking distance from
Pere-Lachaise cemetery.
Perfect location, very kind and helpful personnel, clean bed and covers, room furnished very decently but clean and warm. For this price I was positively surprised and didn't expect anything more.
The room looked better than expected; it was a renovated one. The room
was clean, new furniture. Position of the hotel is great, 1 min to
Belleville Metro station.
Near metro and restaurants. Silent location. Possible to walk to Notre Dame in 45 minutes. Room rate 35 euro for a double room incl local tax.
Although there is no lift there, the one who worked there helped me to lift my luggage.
It was cheap, the location was good, the room was decent, the staff were friendly.
Excellent Location in an interesting, very charming quarter of the city.
The reception staff were all very helpul and friendly.
Location is very good, room was renovated, good wifi.
Good location, reasonable quality for the price.
All perfect.! (всё понравилось).
more space between bed and wall.
everything.
location.
We were travelling with bicycles and the staff made a special effort to
give us a room on the ground floor so we could bring in our bikes. This
gave us a room with ensuite, which he did not charge us for. The staff
were all very friendly and polite: we like this quartier of Belleville
which is multicultural and inexpensive: we loved the Belleville market
just outside the door: the room was comfortable at the price, and
convenient to the Métro.
I stayed at this hotel last year too. I like it because it's the
cheapest you can get in Paris while being only a few steps away from the
metro station. The staff is friendly and helpful and they are now
renovating the place, which means the quality of the rooms is improving.
Stayed there while travelling around the world in northern railway
circumnavigation. Not a bad place close to metro station for the price
I've got, and because I asked for the second floor I've got wifi
in the room.
I liked the neighborhood which was far from the tourist areas. It was a
colorful, interesting area and was well located for forays into the
center of Paris. In the hotel, my room was sparse but comfortable.
The price is hard to beat for a downtown Paris hotel (there's
cheaper hotels like Formule 1 etc. in the suburbs). The location
is great, it's in the heart of Belleville's cosmopolitan
cafe society.
Closed to the Metro. Helpful stuff on the reception. Special, but nice
atmosphere around, for ex a cosy restaurant opposite the hotel, accordeon-
players :) etc.
- Location is good. Nearby metro station and shops.
- Bed is clean.
- The price is reasonable.
If you don't care about other things, its good to sleep their.
Very affordable hotel with great location. An ideal choice for backpackers and those on a budget. Comfortable rooms with the bare necessities.
The best thing I can say about this hotel is that it is cheap. The
location is good for Republique and close to Belleville Metro.
This hotel is for very tired people, who haven't got a lot of money. Is good just for sleep, the price is good for this thing.
The location (really near to subway). The employees are usually nice, even though if not everyone speaks perfect English.
I liked the man who made our check in, the friendly attitude, the room was hot, the location near the metro Belville etc.
The room was an ok size. Quite cheap and good value for the location, which we found to be very convenient.
The bed was nice, and we got the standard sink in the room. There was always hot water in the shower.
friendly staff, central location and very good value. Room was reasonable for one night.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable for the price I paid that
was enough.
The hotel is located in a muti-cultural neighborhood with a lively nightlife.
Easy to check in, and the let us go up and see our room before we had to pay.
Location. Most of the staff was able to speak english.
good value for money but good for 1 day quick stay.
Close to supermarket, cafes, train station.
Cheap, close to metro, 24hr reception.
Lication near the metrostation.
near the tube station.
nice, clean rooms.
distance, price.
room.
Hipotel located in chineese zone, price is cheap. for this price you get 1 common toilet and bath on the floor, in the room almost no furniture coz rooms are too small. rooms are clean, staff is friendly, but the quality of bed-linen could be better. we spent there 2 nights, but next time i will choose another one.
I liked the price and the location (not far from the subway, different shops, the city center) and the view out of the window (two bistrots and garmon music every night), polite personnel. A vivid block, cafés overcrowded with guests, nice atmosphere for those who like noisy places.
I liked the location of the hotel, it is only 50 meters from the metro and it is very close to the center. The room was also pretty good! It was ceaned every morning!.
The reception staff is very nice and handsome. But, the devices are not very good. But in Paris, it is a really cheap hotel.
Locations is good. Only 1 minute away from the metro station.
Hot water in the shower.
I chose shared bathroom, the shower was good, but most of the toilets
are between the different floors. If you arrive in the morning you can
go but they don't finish the cleaning until 1 or 2.
Not that it affected us at all, but outside of the room and the bathroom the building was in need of, and undergoing, repairs.
Two times someone smoking turned on fire alarm. Lots of street noise. I
couldn't connect to WiFi (tried twice, with two different phones).
The hotel is in renovation right now so the lobby and other places
aren't really comfortable. The rooms are not soundproof so
you'll hear a lot of noise specially in the morning and afternoon
when everybody comes and goes. No wifi in the rooms only in the lobby.
No microwave or kitchen fascilities. Many guests must pay for wifi if they dont show reservation which confirms that wifi is included in room price to head staff. Head staff confirms that room rates are changed daily and that it is neccessary to cancel and rebook the booking on letsbookhotel.com to get the lowest rate, specially the days before arrival.
The facilities could have been a bit better, like the bathrooms and shower.
In case of fire, guests of the upper floors would be terribly trapped.
The toilets did not flush properly.
Bad internet and not all time. (очень плохой интернет, большую часть времени не работает).
toillet wasnt in room.
nothing.
Well the hotel seems to have halted its refurbishment and left
everything in situ: It is borderline acceptable re category as hotel,
nearly a doss house: you have to be comfortable with Third World
conditions or camping to be comfortable here, and it's not to the
standard of, say a Formule 1 or similar.
I gave a lower score than last year because the toilets, which are
shared, are unacceptable. Some are missing the seat or the seat is
covered in pee sprays all the time. Worse, there are no garbage bins for
used tampons and such so it's very inconvenient, and unsanitary, to
carry all the unflushable stuff back to the room. I hope the renovation
project will take care of the toilets too.
The room smelt weird and while the room looked clean, the whole hotel
and especially showers and toilets was pretty dirty. The walk-in price
would be too much for the place, even if it's Paris. (letsbookhotel.com
one was 1/2 of it).
Except for my room, the facilities, namely the shared showers and
toilets, were in poor condition. However, the current owners are in the
process of renovating the building, so in a few months things might be
much better. WiFi reception was terrible and did not extend beyond the
ground floor lobby, which was usually crowded with guests who were using
the wireless. Housekeeping service was not the best.
Holes in the walls with wiring sticking out, dirty toilets, paper thin
walls, so-so cleanliness...
Not fresh! A lot has to be renovated. I was really chocked in the
beginning, but then "didn't see" it. It's still only a
roof to sleep under. Bad daily cleaning. Can be too much noise in the
evening from the restaurants around.
- Toilets are not clean as u might expect, shared toilets.
- Bath room is also shared, so not clean enough.
- 2/3 personel can speak English.
- Wifi was sometimes not working ( at the reception)
- At your room you don't have access to wifi
I hope they will spend some money to make things better.
No wi-fi on the top floor (4th), shared toilets and showers weren't clean. Can be quite noisy outside at night.
This hotel is crap. No en-suite and one shower per floor with two of
those out of order. No bar, no lift, no tv. No lock on toilet door.
Hot expect lux.
Although the room was mostly clean, it felt a bit old and degradated. The reception space could be cozier. Since there is no lift, beware when carrying too much luggage.
Also the neighborhood isn't that good, specially during the night.
The bathroom was shared and at the same floor didn't work, at another floor the door couldn't be safely locked etc. and the shared bathroom was very small and without sink. You had to go to your room to wash your hands etc.
Bathroom maintenance is poor - toilet seats don't stay in place, shower heads don't have a holder so you have to hold it whilst showering, lacking shower screens to keep your towel, clothing etc dry.
No wifi in our room, just near reception which has very few seats.
There was one shower per floor, although it didn't seem so busy when we were there, so that could have been a problem. We suggest that you get a room as high up as possible, it's not the safest neighborhood. There is no elevator, but staying on the higher floors will be much safer.
only would recommend to stay for one night as very few facilities and shared toilet/showers.
Toilets are dirty and old.
Extremely basic room - not even a television. Staff wasn't particularly friendly.
Bathrooms were a little bit gross (shared for each floor, down the hall). You definitely want to wear shoes and roll any pants up. Also, the sink in our room leaked lots of water on the ground, but we just put a towel on the floor and it was fine.
The hotel needs to be refurbished.
internet was only downstairs and not in the room.
No hot water in shower, no help with carrying large bag up four flights of stairs.
U can do better. Old and dirty rooms, clean sheets but old stained bedcover, stained walls, toilet and bathroom is shared, one shower only per floor and 2nd floor is broken, super noisy all the time, internet may or may not work.
One bathroom in the floor.
the shower and the toilet.
noisy, toilets weren't very clean.
Bathrooms not clean.
location is not safe.
In 4 days the room has never been cleaned (it's a whim on my part), everything is very old, it needs a great repair and renovation! Plus among other things the streets of the block are very "chineese" and full of chineese prostitutes.
I didn't like the bathrooms! The rooms don't have their own toilet and you had to use the public ones, which where not so clean! It was my one and big problem!.
Not very clean and convient.
Cleanness and this hotel dont know each other. Very humid rooms, ants inside the whole place.
