Very friendly, very welcoming. Like staying with your friends. Great hosts. Amazing location (if you like mountains, nature and being well off the beaten track). Get there and just relax. Would stay again.
The location may seem remote but it was a fascinating experience for us - both in terms of surrounding nature and the care we received. Its nearly 1500km from our home but we come again.tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Friendly people - the perfect location to relax - nice rooms - good food - fair price - excellent view from the rooms - you feel "at home" very fast, causing you to want to stay there.
There is a wild and well-hidden little charming river next to the garden were you can spend a whole afternoon in the heart of the nature with no-one around you. The host family offers you a very warm welcome and share with every guest a simple diner every evening.
It is a bit daunting trying to find the place, its quite remote and the drive is a bit scary at times. But well worth the effort as its great when you get there.
If your GPS tells you to take a small road passing "Majastres", you are heading into trouble. It took me 2 hours and the road has lots of stones and steep hills that normal cars shouldn't take. The correct way to reach the hotel is to pass through "La palud sur verdon". - The drive way of the hotel is also not easy for low cars. - There are dogs (very very nice ones, but if you have allergies you will have a bad time) - No internet/phone.
The rooms were very simple. The swimming-pool was not really luxurious and water was rather cold. You also have to accept the presence of the other guests for every meal...
