One of the delights of travelling in France is finding and staying in beautiful old chateaux and houses, and Chateau de Gramazie is definitely up there with the best. A grandly proportioned bedroom and ensuite with equally proportioned bed and lovely furnishings. The dining, breakfast and sitting rooms all reflected the wonderful ambience of a bygone era - beautifully embellished and painted ceilings and classical furniture. Breakfast was buffet style including cold meats and cheese along wit. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
The chateau was small and friendly, we were the only guest. Hughes, the owner, was amazingly friendly and helpful. He cooked our dinner which was very good value for money, but you have to order it in the morning (I did this by email) and there was no choice.
Perfection!!!
Location was great for Carcassonne.
Stayed in Suite 3 which was a delight, the rooms were lovely and the bed was so comfortable. A very warm welcome from the staff, good food, lovely surroundings, would love to be able to go back!!.
The location was beautiful and extremely quiet. Owner and staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. Huge bathroom and huge bedroom. Considering we were in France, breakfast was abundant.
Fabulous building with wonderful grounds. Superb huge funky room. Great shower. Good breakfast. Obliging owner/manager. Pre-dinner drinks under sun umbrellas -it was just lovely.
The owner...a lovely guy.
Huge bedrooms and en suites. Very quiet and relaxing. Great breakfast. We missed the evening meal which can be ordered in advance but looked excellent.
Everything, the elegant French gentleman who owned and ran it, his wonderful cooking and the beds, the pillow, the decor, the wonderful details! Fantastic stay.
The inn keeper was gracious & helpful. Wonderful meals at a great price. Peaceful location in the country, but near historic sites.
Superb Chateau, lovely location and excellent facilities. Great food and wine and a superb attentive, helpful owner.

Size,tranquility. Very different.
Everything.
Everything was good.
The room was large and sparsely furnished, which was fine, but the bed was very hard.
Nothing. It was superb.
Absolutely nothing!.
Nothing.
Breakfast a little pedestrian though ample, and dinner had no vegetables although very good value.
