Cosa dice la gente
Monseur Gerard, the owner, is a very kind and thoughtful man who goes
out of his way to make guests welcome. Despite the language
difficulties of us speaking very little French we enjoyed several
conversations with Gerard.
On arrival around 8.00 pm he enquired if we had dined and provided suggestions for restaurants.
Breakfast is a special time at this small hotel. There is a good range of fresh food including fruit. Gerard enjoys dining with his guests and tries to ensure that they have ever. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Mr. Grebert did everything for me. I didn't have change for a pizza
and I was starving, so he paid for it out of his own pocket and added it
to my total fee. He was awesome to talk to, as well. He showed me
exactly where everything was on a map, which was extremely helpful.
5 minute walk to the train station, 10 minutes to downtown. PERFECT location. Absolutely incredible.
My room was BEAUTIFUL. For the price I paid, I couldn't believe it. Huge bed, beautifully decorated room, my own bathroom .
Gerard is a fabulous host and has a beautiful home. He shared a lovely
breakfast with us taking care to ensure that my 8 year old son had
something to eat for breakfast that he would like. Gerard also gave my
son a little christmas gift, which was very thoughtful. We mentioned
that we were visiting our great grandfathers war grave in Croisilles and
Gerard told us this was his home town and took time to show us pictures
of Arras from the war. He has a gorgeous dog called Fabiola who was very
ver.
This accommodation is a credit to our host. He seemed to go out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable. The room was large and had a small kitchen area for preparation of light meals if desired. The breakfast was more than adequate and freshly prepared. We enjoy this more personal style of accommodation rather than the 'cookie-cutter' approach offered by many hotels. A delightful stay.
The charming old style rooms with their antique bricabrac. An equally friendly host who shared breakfast with us each morning and his beautiful little dog Fabiola. Gerard even sent us a photo of us with Fabiola.
The host was friendly and helpful. Included petit dejeuner was tasty. No frills accomodation but clean, quiet and was a great value. Very convenient location.
Close to the railway station, quiet neighbourhood, friendly and helpful host, and a short stroll to the centre of town.
Excellent Hospitality throughout and a very nice breakfast. Easy access to the wonderful town square.
A warm welcome from the patron who is lovely gentle host - fabulous decor and a great breakfast.
Excellent host and made very welcome. Easy walk in to Town Centre. Free parking close by.
Close walk from the station. Host was very friendly. Room was nice. Great breakfast!.
Owner very keen to please and help .made us a nice french Breakfast would use again.
Convenient and host tried extremely hard to ensure our stay was pleasant.
The homy atmosphere and the beautiful garden. And the excelent breakfast.
Good artisan baguette.
Nice host (and puppy!), fantastic breakfast, easy parking. Nice to have a base with kitchenette so can make sandwiches for lunch for the family, keep milk overnight for morning tea etc. An excellent base for visiting the battlefields.
Charming host and good location, near railway station and old town.
Excellent value for a family with three children; less good for me and
my grandson. Though was certainly the cheapest apartment option, giving
us both some privacy.
The owner was really friendly, and had no problem getting up at one o'clock in the morning to let us in.
The owner was lovely - quirky - very kind and genuine.
Very keen to share his home.
cosy.
The hot water for the bath ran out - my only problem!.
Couldn't get into our room til 5pm on arrival.
There are two "41" on the same street. Better signage needed.
Nothing.
Double bed a bit hard for my taste.
Nothing.
Boiler is a bit temperamental; best to put on high overnight to guarantee hot water for baths in the morning. Kettle's base is broken though still works. Some of crockery was dirty in cupboards. Both bedrooms have double beds with a single bed which is OK as long as your children don't mind sharing a bed.
Down at heel; TVs not working.
Bedding wasn't wonderful- blankets rather than duvets, and lumpy pillows.
A little bit dated!
Eclectic room to say the least.
hollow bed.
Much too close to the railway. Too much noise from the trains from very early in the morning till late at night.
Abysmal! Damp and musty smelling with no heat until 6:00 PM. Bathroom built into an existing kitchen (no joke!). We thought we had seen it all but this was a first. Suggest delisting this property or at least give it no stars.
