  Martina, the proprietor was incredibly helpful. Her family has lived in the immediate area for generations so she is very knowledgeable...hiking times, groceries, etc. The location can't be beat right on the beach and near the national park. Lovely relaxing atmostphere, romantic outook from our balcony room. Option to swim right in front of the hotel. Fabulous food including fresh fish cooked outside on a purpose built brick oven with hotplate. Hotel owner went out of her way to accommodate our needs. The best hotel we stayed in in the entire two week touring trip of Croatia

  Villa Kastel is a really **** hotel. The stuff is very kindly and helpful.
