the host was very friendly and helpful.
the room was clean and bright and had a balcony overlooking the little town and the sea! everything apart from the tv (which we didn't care to use anyway) and the wifi worked well. there was an air condition and even a little fridge in the room.
the place was nice and quiet - perfect to relax.

A lovely place to stay! Took the bus from Sobra, very cheap and the bus driver dropped us right outside. The place is on the bay, so easy to reach by boat as well. Our balcony was set only a road's width from a beautiful cove. Polace is a very small village with just one road, houses on one side and moorings on the other, at the entrance to the national park (though I would reccomend driving a few minutes up the road to save a bit of a walk to the lakes) so I simply cannot explain how good this location is. The room has a fairly basic feel to it, but everything was new, clean and worked well. There was a small but well equipped and adequate kitchenette

Very clean. Perfect kitchen. Great view of the harbour from the bedroom. Gorgeous terrace with fruit trees growing around. Very spacious with modern fittings. Everything worked perfectly. Absolutely breathtaking surroundings! We had been in Croatia and around the islands for over a week when we stayed here and tried many other apartment/hotel/rooms.... This is a wonderful place. With the most perfect location just a few steps to the beautiful sea - perfect for lots of swimming in a quiet and tranquil environment. And Bozinca and her family looked after us so well! The food at the restaurant is really wonderful and a great way to try lots of Croatian dishes - we loved it and would recommend it. The accommodation overlooked the main town on the island and was within easy walking distance of the town and ferry for Dubrovnik and other islands. The apartment has a sea view balcony in the main bedroom and a terrace in the garden. Kitchen was well equipped with all you would need for cooking your own food. We were there just on the edge of the season so were slightly limited eating out but ate at a great beach cafe in the other village most days. There are loads of paths all over the island
