The place was wonderful. We booked the room with terrace and the view was outstanding. The house is impeccable, the room very spacious, it also has a garden and a brand new bbq, that I had the luck to use it for the first time! ;)
If some days you want to avoid the crowds in the old city, you can stay in the balcony or in the garden, it's just delicious.
The surrounding area is very nice and safe, and you get to the house through those typical little alleys that the city has. You really feel t. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
The location was great, so close to the old city via a flight of steps. And the house itself was set in the most beautiful walled garden with a gazebo and dining table. And the breakfast was excellent. The owners were so friendly. I highly recommend a stay here!.
Vlado was very nice and helpful. The garden of the house is beautiful, you can have great time here. Close to the city center. Very quiet.
The breakfasts the small number of guests the local staff the location to the old town.
Very obliging host, beautiful gardens, great location to access Old Towne, very clean.
It is close to the old town. It has a beautiful garden and peaceful environment.
The apartment was as described in the advertisement, and did not disappoint.
Location was decent, 10 minutes walk from old city, there is a fair amount of steps to be taken though.. :)
Other than that - good room, comfy bed etc, but nothing special either. We found it perfect, as we didn't spend much time there, why would you, Dubrownik is so beautiful that we chose to be out all the time.
Great location - close to the old city of Dubrovnik. Lovely walled garden too full of flowers. Breakfast is available for an extra cost (if booked in advance) around the corner at Limestone House 2.
Vlado he makes this place a because of his efforts friendliness and advice you can't help but turn a blind eye. He planned our Bosnian trip .Anna was nice too.
Very warm welcome. Nice small apartments.
Good locations.
Location.
the best part was the breakfast beautiful garden.
Nice garden and that would be it!.
We felt the towels were kind of sour. If you do a BBQ, you have to get yourself all the material (dishes, cutlery, glasses etc, things that you are not supposed to take with you to Dubrovnik for holidays!) WiFi is not that strong, sometimes you don't have any signal.
A bit old furniture, basic equipments.
Being moved from limestone house to limestone house one without asking and having at least 100 steps to climb to new accommodation. Add this to 300 steps from old town it as exhausting in heat.
A lot of stairs up from the street; not a suitable location for anyone needing assistance.
Not too easy to find it. There is no information about that you has to visit the nearest travel agency to check in.
It was not clearly signed from the road, the actual apartment being up a stair way, not a street. The reception was not marked as the site at all, and on a busy 1 way street.
Parking available on street, but not directly at the house, so not comfortable in terms of bringing the bags in and out through the stairs, we recommend having limited luggage when staying in Limestone House.
The air conditioning wasn't working and the house felt a bit unfinished.
A few little flaws but if you want five star there is the Hilton down the road at 5 times the price.
Only one Restroom which includes also the shower in the basement for all rooms.
We asked for a taxi for next morning and staff promised about it. But taxi didn't come.
Also we tried to pay for all day, came 3 times, but staff were not in the office.
The owner was unpleasant. He suppose to move his car for ours as he promised but although he did so, he showed us a face full of discomfort and dislike and we felt like we have just destroyed his day. In general he was very grumpy and definitely not happy of our arrival and was talking with angry voice. I felt relief the next day that his nice wife was in the office instead of him.
place was hard to find, many stairs,1 day no room service (unexplained) ,very plain,.
Towels were stinking, there was no tv, expensive breakfast for children (our was under 3 and still paid full price). Old bed, rooms were in deep need of renovation!!!.
