The room was large and luxuriously furnished. Spacious bathroom which was well stocked with all the essential toiletries and restocked daily. Very comfortable bed. Well located within 15 mts walking distance to Nanjing pedestian mall. Also many reasonably priced cafes and restaurants nearby (turn left as you come out of hotel), banks nearby (Citibank next door). friendly, funny and helpful staff. they speak english pretty well and make it feels like home. very nice and smart design for such small place. pretty clean for chinese standard. would recommend especially a solo traveller who would like to stay late drinking at the bar. easy to find from metro station line 2 and near a very lively Nanjing road. We stayed in a double room for one night only and were happy with the hostel. Nice big, clean room with a great view, big new bathroom. Shanghai Blue Mountain Bund Youth Hostel is a hidden in a side road (great as not too noisy) but has a GREAT location, about 3-4 minutes to Nanjing Road metro station. You need to look for the sign though as there is a few hotels/hostels in the same building. Staff was friendly and spoke good english. There are plenty of places to eat around as well as supermar

Non fatevi ingannare dall'aspetto anonimo e trasandato del palazzo all'esterno: una volta dentro, la musica cambia. Reception carina, con caffè e te a disposizione delli ospiti. Personale gentile che parla benissimo inglese, con un ragazzo di madrelingua inglese. La nostra stanza era splendida: nuova, spaziosa, ben arredata e con giusto. Bagno di design, spazioso, ben accessoriato e con una spendida enorme doccia ben progettata e funzionale.

It had a really nice view over the Bund. Everything was white and clean.
Staff was really attentive and they helped us on our problems with a

Its a very affordable hotel, with good facilities despite the price and very warming and pleasant stay, the staff are well organise and ready to be of any assistance. - spacious and nice room, except that it has no mini-refrigerator.

this is an excellent hotel, with great service. check-in was easy. the rooms have just enouth luxury to make you feel you're in a high-class hotel, it had a nice view of city. and the rates are very affordable. breakfast was nice, it had both western and chinese food. the location is very good because it is within a walking distance from the bund river. i would definitely stay at the riverview hotel again.
