Very cool hotel! Great design, very comfortable, lovely staff, good restaurants, very good spa and facilities (gym and swimming pool). Good to know that the hotel is located in the highest building of the city and has a view (face to face) to the Canton Tower and the pearl river (and basically all the city, since the lobby is on the 70th floor and the hotel goes until the 100th).

I was in town for attending Canton Fair. Well organized free shuttle service to the Fair.
Made a special request for early check in at 10am which was granted without any extra fees.

I enjoyed greatly staying at the apartment hotel. It was plain luxury at a low cost right in the city centre. Stayed in a Business Twin Apartment with 2 double beds separated by a glass sliding door and twin aircond, kitchenet and washer/dryer. s good as 5-star hotel but with spacious room at very reasonable price. Very clean and well maintained. 5-10 mins walk to Liede subway station and close to new restuarants/shopping areas. The apartment is situated in a new downtown business area in Guangzhou and on the fringe of the old part of the city.Therefore it is not so noisy Would definitely recommend to

I loved everything about Shangri-La; although abit on the expensive side but worth it. The hotel is the grandest I have ever visited, the service is excellent and has lived up to its 5-star status. Loved every minute of it and cant wait to re-visit. -

It was about 50 metres to a large modern shopping centre, Takoo Hui Shopping Mall. Which had a wonderful food court, super market, etc.
The Hotel served a top breakfast. Excellent rooms, and helpful staff. Would stay there on my next visit, and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so good. -

very good location, close to the fair - They knew it was my birthday and sent me a card! The chocolates, newspaper, free welcome drink... the small little things were nice touches. Outdoor swimming pool was lovely. Steam room worked well.

I stayed for 2 days in a ex suite with my wife the room was a very high standard of cleanliness and all the usual ammeneties you'd expect of a 4star establishement the breakfast was a good standard but felt with the buffet the food could have been randomly changed more often to keep it looking a little more fresher to the eye but above all else the staff took time out to always make you feel welcome bless
