in paradise. I don't know if all the hutong hotels are like this

It was very close, within walking distance, of two of the most famous hutongs. Very comfortable beds with a modern bathroom. The staff waited up for us until 1 am to let us in when returned to our room. The breakfast was great with many selections.

(air) beyond belief. In itself, must be seen to believe. Kapok was on
the door step of the forbidden city and tien'amen and very
convenient for the purpose; to visit these. There is a food market on a

This hotel is in a great location for tourist very close for Forbidden City and shopping as well. The design is great and the rooms have wood floors, always a plus in China where carpet cleaning is not a top priority.
A consideration for those traveling with a partner or sharing a room on business, the bathrooms are glass walled with a curtain to pull shut when using the space, so consider this when booking this hotel depending on who else may be in the room. The bathroom was nicely designed a

The staff, especially Julia, was quick to respond to our needs and
complaints. We were transferred to the upper floor when we complained
about the noise from the renovation and to a non-smoking floor as

I had first some doubts because some comments were not so good.
But then I booked a Junior Suite for a reasonable price. It was in the Executive Wing. INcluding breakfast and several other goodies!
Everything was fine! Clean, big, nice room, Bathroom with a cool Bathtube.
All the personal I met spoke well English.

Very nice hotel in the middel of the old Hutongs, near to many good small local restaurants.
The staf are friendly, helpful and all is in very good shape.
location is hard to find sometimes, but all other impressions make this more than good.
I did have a pleasant stay here en will defenitely go again. -

... cosa dice la gente » comfortable and stylish. The shadow puppet show was a treat. Although a little short this was made up for by the two Chinese children, also guests, who after the show gave us their own interpretation of shadow puppetry. The dancing skeleton was hilarious!
