Cosa dice la gente
Crandell has been a joy. The Lodge is situated in town, easily accessible and within close walking distance from Waterton Lake. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very well suited for self-catering trips. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable - service was exemplary. Our rooms were available early, so we could even do an early check-in at no charge. The accommodation is very good value for money and when possible, we will love to return to Crandell Lodge. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Nice staff! Very clean and comfortable! Cooking facilities available,
free parking slot also. Watching through the window we have seen deer in
front of the meadow. Notice: it`s better to have a room with cooking
facilities, especially at end of season (end of september/beginning
of october) because the supermarket in town closes and you have to drive
to Cardston or Pincher Creek 40-45 km far-out from Waterton Park. If you
know this it`s not a problem.
I really liked the courtesy of the hotel management and must appreciate their extra-ordinary cooperation when they discovered that I had booked on letsbookhotel.com and they had not received any intimation of my arrival and stay.
I am glad that I met some of the most wonderful and friendly people and I would strongly recommend others to stay at Crandell Mountain Lodge.
The scenery was beautiful
Very peaceful & relaxing
We enjoyed walking through
The town with its Cafes & shops
The waterfall was awesome
We saw lots of wildlife & took lots of pictures
We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the chipmunks, birds& fox. The lake was pristine and with the mountains in the background it made for awesome pictures.
We were in Waterton for a family wedding with lots of people staying in
the park at different lodges. Liked it that Crandall is at the edge of
the village with a view of the lake. Easy walking distance to shops and
other lodges. Not to mention the afternoon cookies in the lobby.
We stayed for more than a week
to visit with my brother's family.
It was probably the best holiday my wife and I have been on. It is the place to stay in Waterton if you want to sometimes cook for yourself and relax on the comfortable patio by the barbeques.
We loved the quaint atmosphere. We parked the car in front and didn't use it until we left. Loved walking to town. It was nice to be able to sit on the deck after the long walks. Will definitely book this exact room next year.
The location. You could park your car and walk any where you needed to go for shopping or food or the lake. Also could walk to several hiking trails. Very nice.
Close to the lake, townsite, Prince of Wales. Comfortable beds. Nice staff. Clean rooms. Great deck out front for people and wildlife watching.
The charming decor of the room, the delicious chocolate chip cookies offered in the afternoon, the convenient location, friendly staff.
Friendly staff and yummy cookies. Two bedrooms and a kitchen sitting area worked well for our family. Will come back again.
cottage feel, clean accommodation, staff welcoming and keen to tell us about the area and the things to do, easy to find.
I really like the rustic feeling and with the days being rainy, the fireplace made it ever so cozy.
I loved the country themed rooms and the proximity to hiking trails and the sights in Waterton.
The service and the room were excellent. The owner was very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.
Great Kitchen even if small with all the pots pans, glasses dishes you would need.
Front desk was excellent with a nice cookie to greet you with very friendly staff.
It was quiet, clean, pleasant, walking distance to the lake,
restaurants, etc.
Friendly staff, vintage building perfectly located, easy parking, quiet.
The kitchen was very well equipped
There was enough room for all 3 of us.

The location and having a small suite with a kitchen.
I love the nice, calm quite town at Waterton park.
The location is good and the staffs are excellent.
clean and its in waterton, easy to walk everywhere.
Very friendly, kind helpful staff.
Coziness of the room.
Every thing was good.
Quaint and cozy.
Location & old fashion items & cookies (very good).
Location, nice hard bed, welcoming decor.
The decorations.
Fireplace.
Location and the boat trip on the lake.
Room was clean-bed was comfortable.
Very slow wi-fi connection.
Lack of reliability on behalf of letsbookhotel.com when I felt stranded at the lodge as letsbookhotel.com had not informed the hotel about my arrival.
The suite was not as spacious as we would have liked. The coffee pot was not full size - could only make 2 cups each time
We had a problem with the plumbing - did not flush properly and on the last day it pluged up and we could not use. Also sink in kitchinette
Would not drain
We had to go to another unit to shower.
Wish it was less expensive, but we had a great time and it's hard to
put a price on that.
The single bedbug found in the bed and the 'no apology', fact of life response from the staff.
booking a room for 5, to find we had 3 double beds, not ideal when travelling with 3 teenage children. A clearer explanation at time of booking would save the headache of trying to appease 3 teenagers at the end of a long day. also the only bathroom was through one of the bedrooms, barely acceptable for a family group, a bit embarrassing for a group of friends.
I would have preferred to have the parking further from the main road. Having a new car, I was a bit concerned about the parking area.
Décor is dated.
No complaints at all.
Room very simply appointed, older furniture, a bit cramped for four.
it was expensive.
Overpriced.
The room had a musty smell. The rooms could use some freshening up.
Very busy in summer so you have to book early!.
TV - very old and did not work well at all.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable!.
The room did not have good insulation. It can be very noisy depends on your next door.
old decor, but really that doesn't matter...the mattress was getting old.
No air conditioning :(.
Room was a bit tiny, and some noise in the stairway.
Stayed in two bedroom - Unit #1
ceiling fan was covered in dust.
Thin walls - noisy neighbours.
Wasn't clean enough.
Sheets were worn; sink should be inside bathroom.
Poor facilities. Cramped accommodation with tired furniture and fittings.
Over priced!.
Room wasn't as advertised-too expensive for what u get-when I
complained the room was different from the picture I saw when I booked
it the desk person said the pictures aren't always accurate-when I
complained about the price being too much her answer was that you are in
a national park -this was the reason.
The room was not cleaned
Just the beds made Used cups and glasses where same place as we left them ,and the room smelled .
Would be nice if for three people there was more than one small bottle of champoo for 2 nights.
