The staff was very friendly and helpful. The had great recommendations, was very detailed with directions/maps and also were fluent in English. While it's not the newest hotel (not luxury) the bed was very comfortable, the rooms large and the pool/hot tub very nice.

After tired of eating hamburgers we found ourselves in the hotel within
very short walking distance to restaurants in China Town. This is the
big advantage if you have a Chinese stomach. The location is excellent,
within walking distance to Via station, airport shuttle buses, old town,
cruise terminal and lots of churches. Two queen beds room is very large.

The hotel is new and very nice. It was a little hard to find. The museum is wonderful. They do have a restaurant with a very unique menu! We signed up for breakfast and it was a great way to start the day.They are planning on adding a spa and pool.It is a very unique hotel and we had a wonderful stay. - Interesting concept. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed sitting out on the decks overlooking Lac Sable and later swimming there.(Beach access included in the price of the room) -
Everything was really good! The food was excellent, the facility was not crowded.

The quality of food -
Port Royal is a fantastic hotel located in the heart of basse-ville (lower town). Our room 105 had original stones and wood beams dating from 1700´s. BEd is very comfortable, room decór is sooting and chic (shantung curtains, ceiling painted in grey-brown). Bedroom has a built in kithchenette very convenient. Hotel bar is really cool too. I would totally recommend future guests to head to local Quebec boulangerie named Paillard centrally located in Rue St Jean in Haute-ville (5min walt). Their

When I first read the on-line guests reviews, I have to admitt that I was a bit worried to reach there. I was instead pleasantly surprised. Very modern lobby, clean and large room, bed very comfortable. We could hear a bit the noise from the Laurier Boulevard but it will stop during the night. Air Conditioning was not noisy as other guest was sayi

Felt fortunate to find this hotel. Metro right across the street!! Also
could catch a bus there.....FREE Parking! Was able to keep car in the
parking lot for the day although we had already had checked out....that
was great!! We found the room clean, no bedbugs......staff very helpful
and friendly, dining room was very nice (staff again
friendly).

Excellent value for money, especially if you're travelling with kids. Located just across the Quebec side of the Quebec bridge. everyone was great, helpfull and ,friendly from the reception staff to the dining room staff, I can;t say enough about the room clean with all the amenities ,that we needed, the bed was comfortable, I was traveling with my sister ,the girls at the front desk ,assissed us with how best to see Quebec city ,where to get the bus, which was right across from the hotel ,also the food was great in the dining room

Very well located, far from the road so we dont hear any noise. -
Matane is simply awful, but the Riotel is an oasis in a desert of ugliness. You can have dinner and breakfast at the hotel and never have to go out
