The front desk staff and the concierge were all very friendly. It truly
felt as if they were welcoming you into their home. The room lay-out
(especially the closet arrangement) was superb. I am a very sqeamish
houseguest, but the rooms were immaculate.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and staff are very helpful, especially Todd from the Intercontinental Club.
I highly recommend the Club for its excellent business facilities and the tasty snacks. The room was overlooking the CN tower, the bed was very comfortable and the selection of pillows was excellent. The swimming pool and the spa are very nice.

What didn't we like!! This is a fabulous property situated in a very picturesque location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the rooms are very clean. -
Room was beautiful and clean. Nice to have wine glasses instead of simple cups.
Bottled water also a nice touch.
Grounds were beautiful and well maintained.

We like to go to the Pillar-n-Post at least once a year from the USA. It has become our destination for our wedding anniversary celebration (this year makes 42 yrs.). the outside patio, checked out rooftop in the evening but too busy for us (55+). We were worried we would hear noise from the bar while trying to sleep but that was no problem. I liked the location, parked the car and walked around and we were able to walk to the play we came to see. The staff were very friendly. Liked the location.

location is amazing. You're right downtown Ottawa, parliament hill

The location of the hotel is great right on the waterfront, you are in walking distance to the Rogers Center and the CN Tower, the hotel is undergoing renovations at the moment, the pool is located on the 5th floor and this is a lovely area with sun loungers and comfy seating and gets the sun for most of the day.. The breakfast is also lovely nice choice of fresh fruit, pastries and hot breakfast.. There is a tour bus stop across the road from the Hotel and booking office right beside it....

I travel a lot, and the staff at this hotel was the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. They went above and beyond, even just with their courteousness for basic requests, like a wake up call. They made a very regular stay, very enjoyable. -
