I loved everything about the hotel; the decor in the public areas was nice, and the rooms were just gorgeous, with big bathroom, lovely walk-in shower; bed was really comfortable, there was plenty of desk space; the internet was faast and free; and breakfast was veyr good too. felt as if they were welcoming you into their home. The room lay-out

Hotel looks great: large bedroom and bathroom, quick check in and check out, incredibly friendly and professional staff, great coffee machine at the lobby, good breakfast, very good shower (no bath, what I really appreciate), location, good selection of TV channels, available beverages and food choices in the room… It’s definitely a very good choice.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and staff are very helpful, especially Todd from the Intercontinental Club.
I highly recommend the Club for its excellent business facilities and the tasty snacks. The room was overlooking the CN tower, the bed was very comfortable and the selection of pillows was excellent. The swimming pool and the spa are very nice.

What didn't we like!! This is a fabulous property situated in a very picturesque location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the rooms are very clean. -
Room was beautiful and clean. Nice to have wine glasses instead of simple cups.
Bottled water also a nice touch.
Grounds were beautiful and well maintained.

We like to go to the Pillar-n-Post at least once a year from the USA. It has become our destination for our wedding anniversary celebration (this year makes 42 yrs.). I meant to write 'enjoyed' last time. The staff are wonderful,
and the prices in the bar are fair (one time I had 2 guests, and we had
2 coffees, a dessert and a hot chocolate, and the bill was only
cad$13.00! And the apples at the front desk are very welcome. -

were incredibly friendly, the valet, front desk, even the janitor! The
location is amazing. You're right downtown Ottawa, parliament hill
is right next door, the byward market is a 2 minute walk away and

The location of the hotel is great right on the waterfront, you are in walking distance to the Rogers Center and the CN Tower, the hotel is undergoing renovations at the moment, the pool is located on the 5th floor and this is a lovely area with sun loungers and comfy seating and gets the sun for most of the day.. The breakfast is also lovely nice choice of fresh fruit, pastries and hot breakfast.. There is a tour bus stop across the road from the Hotel and booking office right beside it....

I travel a lot, and the staff at this hotel was the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. They went above and beyond, even just with their courteousness for basic requests, like a wake up call. They made a very regular stay, very enjoyable. -

The hotel lobby looked impressive and set expectations very high. The
check in process was fast and easy. We loved the elevator with a view.
The indoor/outdoor pool was great as was the sauna and locker room.

I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. When checking in at the front desk, was
informed that I had been selected as their Guest of the Day and upgraded
to a suite for no extra charge. I was very surprised and appreciative of
this gesture. We were in town for a family wedding and were able to

I like the Hyatt because it's close to Rogers Center, ACC, CN Tower etc. It is near fine dining and theater.
It's in the heart of TIFF...so you may see celebrities....the New York Red Bulls soccer team was there on this particular weekend.

This is a great place when travelling with a group of friends and wanting to stay all together. The kitchen facilities give you freedom of choice in terms of breakfast etc.
Location wise - it is dead at the weekend but Toronto is small enough for you to be able to walk anywhere.
