We arrived around 2.30pm but had to wait 40 minutes to get checked-in. There weren't enough staff initially, then the computer system crashed. The location of the hotel is most desirable for travellers needing a transit stay in Toronto between flights. It operates a regular efficient airport shuttle service. The other commendable practice in this hotel is to respect guests' privacy, i.e. if one hangs a "Do not disturb" sign outside the door, the understanding is that the chambermaid will NOT knock on your door to insist a clean up (as is the case of many hotels). small but adequate, immaculately clean with plenty of draw space. The
bathroom was spacious with a shower over the bath. Complimentary
breakfast was adequate and served by very helpful friendly staff. Make

Friendly, helpful staff, comfort, good food, wonderful dining room staff. Excellent resort, the other guests, were repeat 'stayers' and could not say enough good things about the resort.We are planning a return trip next year, possibly for a longer stay. I have told a lot of my friends about Colonial, and showed them the brochure.

The location was ideal for us as we were visiting family. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Very good place to stay for an onward journey . -

We stayed at the Holiday Inn recently with friends from Markdale Ontiario.It was extremely clean and comfortable. All the staff were warm, welcoming,Helpfull and able to answer our questions. Beautiful location. Wish I coulld have stayed before the leaves fell. All staff were wonderful especially in the Highlander. Loved the salt water (?) pool. Your whole set up is amazing. -
When I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary, they upgraded our room for us at no extra charge. The food was delicious and the wait staff very friendly.

I really liked the scenary. Fall is my favourite time of year so the locartion and the leaf colour was spectacular. I was attending a conference and found the food to be very tasty. The decade show was enterntaining and enjoyable. My room was also upgraded and really appreciated that. -

I enjoyed the view of the river and the beginning of the fall colours. The check out time was perfect. We were not rushed. Perfect place to enjoy our quiet time together. -

Loverly quaint old inn. The staff were extremely helpful and informative. Their advice of a local restaurant that provided a free shuttle service was excellent and the food amazing. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. We had a very pleasant stay and the continental breakfast was well provided -

... cosa dice la gente » was no heat and a cold, bitter wind whistled through the old windows. But they moved us right away, no questions asked, to a newer room that was just fine. You can't ask for better service. We were close to the Imperial theater which is why we were in Sarnia. Great price.

This hotel was incredibly impressive - easy to get to, comfortable beds, well detailed, clean and modern suites, extensive breakfast with a lot of choices, and great value. The staff was always helpful and super acommodating. I would definitely stay here again. -
