Owner, Barbara, was very friendly and helpful in showing us how to get into town, where to eat, etc.
House/room we had was neat, clean with very comfortable beds. Bathroom, although small, had all the necessary amenities and was very clean. Full breakfast had a good variety of very fresh things. Fruit, tea, cookies and nuts available at all times in the living room. Lots of guide books around for extra information and reading. As well, she had a number of coupons for free wine tastings in the v. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
This being a B&B, the accommodations are homey and cozy. Our hostess, Barbara, was extremely warm and attentive. She is a veritable fountain of information regarding anything that has to do with Niagara-on-the-Lake and its surrounding regions and also possesses a very captivating personality and rich heritage. We were sorry to not be able to take fuller advantage of her knowledge and history. One night in Niagara-on-the-Lake is not enough in both the area and at the Dorchester House. W.
Our stay at the Dorchester House was delightful - friendly, very helpful hostess, good breakfast, easy to access town and theatres from the house. She makes you feel right at home.
Barbara is a marvelous host, she makes you feel like family. and is fabulous conversationalist. This will certainly be our place of choice when returning to Niagara-on-the lake.
Barbara, the proprietor, is a friendly and very accomodating lady. She was happy to do whatever we needed and kept asking if there was anything more she could do.
The ambience of the home, made us feel most comfortable and to have our own bathroom. The hostess was lovely. The food. The other guests. Not far from anything.
Barbara was wonderful! Sweet sweet lady. Her breakfasts were fabulous! Would definitely recommend it to others and can't wait to go back.
Very nice B&B. Barbara claimed she didn't cook, but turned out an outstanding breakfast. Downtown an easy stroll away. Easy to find.
Barbara, the owner was a delightful host. A gourmet breakfast with wonderful stories! A DEFINITE revisit when we are back in town!.

Friendliness, room and particularly the breakfast.
Staff very friendly and food super good.
Friendly owner
Excellent brunch.
good food, friendly owner.
typical of a B&B.
WiFi didn't work in our bedroom; had to go into living room to connect. Somewhat a hike into centre town so you have to drive rather than just leaving the car....however, we knew that when we booked.
We didn't like learning upon our arrival that there was both a cat and dog in the house. One of our group is not only allergic to both but she is also deathly afraid of dogs. That being said our hostess, Barbara, does keep the dog out of the guest area and we were able to all stay there without any problems. (The home is kept cat and dog hair-free and there was no need for any allergy medication.) Regardless, it should have been stated in the description of the property on the website.
no negatives at all.
There wasn't anything to dislike.
Humidity, could have used a/c on for a bit.
Our room was a little small, but we were last ones to make a reservation, so got the smallest room.
Not that we didn't like it, the bathroom was fairly small but adequate.
Our room was small but adequate.the shower stall is very small.
Room a little tight on space, but really fine.
Nothing.
Uncomfortable sitting room.
room was small.
No problems, very comfortable.
