We were warmly greeted by Elaine and Alan,who showed us to our room and
presented us with a bottle of wine and later that night Elaine gave us
with some homemade chocolate chip cookies, which were delicious. Elaine
offered to make dinner reservations for us and assisted us in any way
she could. The room we sated in was one of the cheaper rooms, but it was
beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast the following morning was

Elaine and Al were extremely welcoming. They were always ready to do whatever would make their guests happy. The scene was awesome, combining both the forest and the sea. Being a foodie, I was shocked every morning when we were served a different breakfast everyday. I definitely had the best breakfast in my life. I highly recommend this B&B to everyone.
The prancing horse is located on a hillside overseeing the finlayson arm and every room as well as the many terraces have a fantastic view. It is a quiet and relaxing place. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Elaine and Allan are wonderful hosts and the breakfast was simply gorgeous.
Gorges view right out side of our room. Big full 3 course breakfast, only problem was I could not eat all of it. which really is not a problem at all. Loved the hot tub got to enjoy it all 3 night and did not have to share. would love to stay again sometime.
Everything about this place was lovely and inviting. Very clean, quiet, charming, great food, wonderful view from the bedroom and deck, very friendly and helpful hosts! Highly recommend and hope to return one day for a longer stay.

Driveway and parking, we had to back down a driveway with a curved retaining wall on one side that jutted out in places. Would not have liked to do it in the dark or for that matter even in daylight.

hanging baskets & pots needing attention & weeds everywhere! No
fridge in room as was promised. Out of date information in room folder
(by 3 years!).

There was no one to greet us. A man in the far corner on a laptop turned outbto be the host. The bath had quite a few short hairs in it and the bathroom had rings around items when you moved them you could see the rings on surfaces. We handed our garbage to the host on arrival as it was full and not been emtied. They need to change their cleaning person or check rooms themselves before their quests go into the room.
