I had a private room for a really good price, though small I had a fridge and lots of cupboards above the bed. Comfortable and quiet despite having a bar downstairs, soundproofing was very good couldn't hear other guests when in my room. We loved our stay in this hotel! We got a room with a private bathroom, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Hotel's staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is great - was close to everything we needed in downtown. The price was great too! I highly recommend this hotel and we will stay there again next time we are in Victoria.

The staff were so helpful and friendly!! I've never had service that exceptional. I had looked at the pictures online but in person I was still pleasantly surprised by just how nice the hotel was. We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the bar staff were great and even made me a hot citrus drink at no charge when I exclaimed that I was unwell and unable to have an alcoholic beverage. The location was very centralised to all that we needed to do in Victoria. The check in staff member let us unload our vehicle out the front of the hotel and park there until we were settled and happy with our room. Parking was a bloc away from

We were upgraded to a queen suite at no extra charge, very clean comfortable room. Staff was very helpful. They have bicycles which you can use free of charge , a great way to get around downtown Victoria -

Strathcona Hotel fitted our budget perfectly. The room was small but clean and comfortable. On our first night there was a problem with the hot water not being very hot and the staff went out of their way to make sure it was quickly fixed.

The hotel was beautiful, well done reno's, the lobby is gorgeous, we stayed in an older room with older t.v. and furnishings, but was everything we needed, we spent the only time in the room sleeping, so the bed was comfortable, clean and had free wi'fi, so I could post my pics on FB as we travelled, only thing I would request going forward, is coffee offered to guests that get up before 7:30 am, when breakfast is served, we are early risers, 7Eleven is 1/2 a block away, and was a nice walk in

Abigail’s Hotel is a small boutique bed and breakfast hotel, located on a cul-de-sac in a very nice residential area of downtown Victoria and close to the attractions of the Inner Harbour.

This was, by far, our best place we stayed during our 11-day honeymoon. The staff was so welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, as well as the evening hors d'oeuvres. We enjoyed relaxing in the library lounge room, and visiting with the other guests. In the room, the fireplace was a nice touch. Also, the sound machine on the bedside table played some soothing music that we enjoyed. We have already told many of our family and friends that Abigail's is the only place to book in the future.

Staff was very friendly. Met what we though was the maintenance/housekeeper when i asked for help with luggage as my wife had handsful with kids.
