  My 83 year old mother and I were in Banff for my cousin's wedding at the Fairmont Hotel. We could not afford to stay at the Fairmont (even with a discounted room at $250 a night) and the y Mountain Lodge proved to be an excellent, economical choice for us. We would - Staff is very friendly. Great view out of the room window. Quiet place away from downtown.We could store our luggage on the check-out day. Complimentary internet. Free simple breakfast.
