Staff was very helpful with giving suggestions for the activities in the city and spoke good English. Rooms are very nice and neat. Breakfast was excellent! One of the best we had in Brazil. Location is very safe, which is important if you visit Salvador. For taxis we recommend to use the hotel contact. -

Chez Max was a comftabel pousade. Especially the restaurant we really liked. There was every evening live music, nice food and wine. action and half way point to both beaches. The restaurant was also
fabulous, by far the best Italian on Morro. The breakfast, which was
included was also fabulous. I would 100% recommend this place.

Great price and good location in the village center but steps from the beach. Breakfast is included and was delicious with lots of options - eggs, fruit, breads, cakes, cheeses and meats. Triple bed options are available for groups of three. Would recommend this place to others. -

Love it, love it, love it. You have to make this your base for Salvador.... Stunning place, really nicely decorated with every detail thought about. Super friendly staff full of lots of tips and hints about the town. It is the love and attention they put into everything which shines through - arranged a super friendly collection from the airport, welcomed with a fresh juice, room upgraded, Great breakfast.thank u for a wonderful stay.

Nice location, nice view from the room. Great personal,, actually the European owners are so welcoming that you forget every negative detail about the city or your trip. They give the best advices, arrange airport transfer and nice chatting in many languages which you may not find in elsewhere in Salvador. They try to find solution for all special needs.

Pousada Ilha Verde is a very nice accomodation with a nice garden. The
rooms are lovely and clean and we had a good time relaxing or cooling
off at the pool. It was quite interesting seeing bananas grow as we just
know them from the supermarket. The breakfast is served in a pavilion
open to the garden, with brazilian food(cakes,fruits,juices etc)
