  I am Belgian and I know this hotel. The transport firm I worked for had their 20th party there, so I have stayed here before. The attention to detail hasn't altered. It is truly a good hotel. - Everything. I have stayed at the Beveren literally hundreds of times (although not much recently) - it is my preferred choice when working in Sint-Niklaas

  The welcome was warm and friendly from our hostess, who spoke good english (and several other languages too). Our room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean, as was the bathroom. Soap,shampoo,tissues, hair dryer etc. were availabe for use - even a bathrobe.   The personal contact and helpfullness of the owners is realy something that you don't see so often. The own site of the hotel helped us also verry much in finding our way in this region.   This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel on our way to Austria for a skiing holiday. The excellent food and service gives us a good feel to the start of our holiday. - Warm welcome and very comfortable room. We were only a one stop over on route from Germany to Calais. The restaurant food was superb if a bit pricey.

  The hotel is an attractive, nicely restored mansion that is close to train station ( walk in 15 minutes) and the tram or bus to get to the old city is only a block away. Take tram 4 from the train station if you do not want to walk to the hotel. Get off at the 3rd stop then walk one block. After a day of walking, my wife was not up to walking to any local restaurants so he - The reception by the staff was very friendly and informative. The building was fancy and the rooms are large. The hotel is situated in a large mansion which used to be a number of things in the past and is nicely transformed into a (mere) fifteen room accommodation. The king- sizey bed was excellent and the bathroom was nice. We also had a great time in the City of Ghent, which we had a nice walk to (about 20-30 minutes) and returned from by tram.
