From the minute we stepped inside Dewaterzooi we loved it. We were met with a welcome drink and sat down at the table with the owners who told us what Ghent had to offer. Only stayed here for one night, but a real find. Excellent facilities and a warm welcome (with an excellent recommendation for dinner at the nearby (3k) Du Jardin restaurant). We got a very warm welcome that was more than superior. Everywhere was clean, outside nice garden and friendly donkey. We loved it. On the other day, the owner took us to the train station in Gent without refusing any payment for this not included service. -
I don't think I have ever felt more welcomed at anywhere I have stayed. Smart modern room and facilities. Good breakfast.

This is a real statement, not a fake.
I stayed there 2 nights for business reasons. Kurt, the owner was really concerned about every aspect of my stay. I saw him with some other customers doing exactly the same. The best treatment for his customers in every detail is a personal thing for him.

Amazing room with a great host. Our stay was extremely pleasant, hard to choose between the room, breakfast and the shower facilitations as the highlight of our stay. Kurt gave us very useful tips on sights & local restaurants. Both the rooms and general areas were built and decorated with care and passion resulting in modern and very comfortable Bed & Breakfast whilst staying true to the origin of the building.

Above all the hostess is the kindest person I've ever met and she offered us free beer and chocolate as many as we want. We relaxed in the romantic living room beside fire place with chocolates and beer in the evening and it was really happy moment. -
We loved everything about this place, definate wow factor.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
Facilities are great the room was lovely with a fantastic bathroom.
Breakfast was a choice and was local and fresh.
Perfect location for cycling the Flanders route or watching the Koppenberg Cross.

What a relief it was to arrive on this cosy B&B where everything was clean and decorated with taste, the owner was always super friendly, the bed was very comfortable and you could watch French dvd's in the room or even take a bikeride. Also the breakfast was excellent. I warmly recommend this place! -
