  I booked the hotel, but the guest was Mr Charles Daniel. He has agreed these comments, and has nothing but praise for the staff, who were especially helpful, and hotel in general. - all the staff were friendly and most courtious and the service was excelent.

  The hotel is very recently built in a very pleasant and quiet place overlooking a small lake. Rooms with a lake view have a south-facing balcony, which must be wonderful in the summer. Our double room was sufficiently spacious with decor tending towards minimalism.   Good location, clean room, good service (i.e. tidied on return each evening), practical and clean bathroom and shower. No comments above about staff and facilities because neither existed as such, although the support from Le Sanglier was fine (e.g. they provided a place for us to keep our bicycles) - Very friendly staff, fantastic restaurant.   This hotel had a very friendly staff. The location is why I chose it: it is very close (a 5 or so minute bus ride) from the Orval Abbey. The bus stop is around the corner. I was originally going to stay at the Hostel across the street from the Abbey, but it is closed on Mondays (when I was headed there). I couldn't have been happier. Traditional hotel. Great garden. We found first room noisy because of a connecting door to neighbouring room. Very pleased that another room was found for us without fuss.
