The Porzellaneum is a hostel in Vienna’s ninth district, a 15-minute walk from the Ringstraße boulevard, the Votive Church, and the University of Vienna. It features a snack bar and a 24-hour reception. Rooms at the Porzellaneum feature a washbasin and towels. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. The unique Strudlhofstiege (outdoor staircase) is a 5-minute walk away, and the Augarten Park can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. A restaurant is next door to the hostel, and a supermarket is 150 metres away.

1.Valuable: the cheapest single room that I could find during my days, 100 Euro for 4nights, totally worth it; 2.Location: take tram D,then you go everywhere; 3.Service: it's actually a university dormitory, so the room is small and shared toilet and bathroom, but room's clean and handy, staffs are wonderful, and really homie and comfy atmosphere, enjoyed every second in there. Prices were great! Location was great. Tram stops were within 15 seconds by walk. Take the 38 (towards Hauptbahnhof Ost) to head into city, and the d (towards Nussdorf) to head back to Porzellaneum. Within 3-5 minute walk from supermarket open 7 days a week 0600-2300.

The price of room, breakfast and wlan in room is very cheap!. very nice location, historical building in good condition. free internet access. pretty clean and calm place to stay in Wien for moderate price. very good economy option. Not enought service (pay by card for ex.)/ Too much loud of door's slam/clap, too high audibility - you hear all around outside, that's annoying. Not clean in the common areas (shower, toilet) and in room (floors in the room never be washed for 1 week), clean staff is only for taking out the trash, unfortunately!. Necessary an extra payment for breakfast (5 euros/day). Even though, no fruits or juices available. No privacy during taking shower. Wi-Fi is not working. Very old furniture. No towels at all in the room. A bathroom is in another floor. Trams rattling the windows in the morning and in the evening. The bathroom have not washer hands. Room with bad smell. Not very clean. Bedroom was grubby and run-down with marks on the walls, chipped furniture and lights and plug sockets that didn't work! There were also some hairs in the sink.. this all lead to it not feeling clean. Like being back at uni!. it was expensive, two girls had the same room of mine at the half of the price (I paid 42 for a double room). It has shared shower!!! Really bad. You have to pay for the wifi... and other normal stuffs. The height of my room exceeded its lenght or width:). No elevator, no tv at the room and shared bathroom really taking a bath with 5 other men without any curtain. I feel so dislike about this. The condition of the rooms, we got shown two - they look like recovering cells after a hangover... I didn't like the service, the room. There is no lift, shower is on the floor. Also we have been cheated on a 126 euro! We return our money, but it was unpleasantly to stay there longer.
